"We ate here on our first night in Munich as it was close to our hotel, and enjoyed it so much we returned later in our stay! Friendly service, huge portions, good beer and excellent value; if you want a taste of genuine local food, with local clientele as much as tourists, this is a great place to go. You might end up sharing your large table with others, but that's part of the experience. They have an English menu, by the way."

two cherry roast with bratkartoffel and salat ordered. a little dry. russian onions completely stubborn and the bratkartoffeln also. salat portion very small. Ver carta

I ordered more often and I was always enthusiastic but today I am very sorry I was not satisfied. the carving was almost burned to dark and the pommes almost not baked. Maybe the cook had a bad day.

if they are a tourist looking for a good place to eat German food, I recommend visiting the Bavarian restaurant first. reasonable prices, excellent meals and good service. I think it was the best cost-benefit restaurant we tried in the region.

Stopped off here as it was close to our hotel and we were really hungry after travelling. Had some beers and curry wurst and chips for €17 - food was tasty and a good portion. Exactly what were looking for. Big menu with lots of Bavarian dishes. Ver carta

A nice homey restaurant frequented by locals. Drinks at Bavaria are fairly cheap and good, and the food is quite tasty and authentic. The service was also excellent which added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for a more reserved evening

With a very classic and cozy decoration. Good location near Hackerbrücke train station. The employees wear typical outfits and although the service isn't as warm as I'm used to receive in other restaurants the waitress recommendation was delicious. I would definitely visit this restaurant again on my next trip ;) We spent less than 30€ in a dinner for 2 including beer and tip.
