"Since I can't rate on Trip Advisor naminewitt (yet) I do it here. The vision team and the Old Pastorate in the southern end have merged and implemented a new concept in the rooms of the former “small Witt” and the Hotel Witt in Nieblum. 3 tracks are driven: restaurant (not yet officially opened), self-service drink and sale of regional or branded products. We looked around today at the first visit and focused on drinking, which works very well. For this we had a Roastbeef Vitello in excellent quality and very successful calfs frikadellen. The interior is very tasteful, the outdoor terrace (on which we were 3 hours at 5 degrees the only) is a bang. The wine selection is good, the espresso for Föhr forgives, private thing here does not beat. Once the restaurant is open, we will also pass this extensive exam. "The Asian restaurant Beijing Ente is located near the Föhrer Südstrand. During the holiday we had the desire to eat something other than fish, the smallest common denominator is usually Chinese or Italian, so with us. Already before the entrance of the place you will be greeted by 2 large granite sculptures; sitting lions. Inside it is a surviving Buddha who welcomes guests next to the staff. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in typical Chinese style: e.g. colourful gold-coloured cassette ceilings, large Chinese porcelain floor vases, Winkekatzen, large Asian wall paintings...... also a beautifully planted large water basin with Koi carp. On beautiful days you can also enjoy traditional dishes from the different regions of the Middle Kingdom on the spacious terrace. From Monday to Friday, a reduced lunch table with soup or spring roll is offered; from 9.30 euros. Various multi-course rice boards for several people or original Beijing duck are only prepared for pre-ordering. We chose the lunch table Ba Bao various meats with all kinds of vegetables sharp fried pikant and well 11,50 Euro duck pineapple in sweet and sour sauce with vegetables delicious 13.50 Euro duck with 8 diets crispy duck meat with vegetables and soy seedlings slightly sharp and good 13.50 Euro the previously served Beijing soup and spring rolls were O.K. but we are from our usual home drinks: Also the sections could be a little bigger, were rather narrow. Since we had taken place at one of the round tables with a turntable in the middle, we were able to taste all the other effortlessly ordered dishes we wanted to celebrate. We did not expect any surprises at the desserts, but all sides are well known. Nevertheless, as we still had room in the stomach we had ordered: baked mandarins with vanilla ice cream and honey 5.50 euros baked lychees with vanilla ice cream and honey 5.50 euros both O.K. Overall, however, the restaurant remained somewhat behind our expectations, rather average Chinese restaurant."

"On the white sandy Wyker south beach near the North Sea Park and opposite the old golf course, this beautiful house, built in island-typical red clinkers, can be found. It includes the restaurant pancake house and the garden cafe and apartments.. The pancake house can look back on a long history, it is part of the North Sea sanatorium built in 1898. However, after almost 100 years and after 2 surviving world wars, it was used as an island laundry. In 1995 it was served as a restaurant and cafe. The interior is furnished in modern style in fresh colors in country style with historical accents e.g. Frisian fireplace, Biedermaiersofas, old mirrors....... More accesses to the garden combine indoors and outdoors on skillful wise However we took this beautiful summer day in the enchanting, romantic garden of the local square. Ranking roses, trees, gently plundering water games, iron pavilions, beach baskets contribute to sufficient distance and privacy. In the whole house you can discover fairytale : music carousel, dragon fountains, sea gods, round frog king seat bench; you meet the Frog King here on step and step, already above the main entrance you are greeted by this, more sculptures inside and in the garden, on the menu, the beer lids almost everywhere laugh at one of these friendly frogs. Froschkönig children's chairs, swings and, of course, the carousel are available for the young, so that after eating you can stay a little longer without the youngster swelling again. The pancake house uses exclusively natural, ecological, biological, regional products. Offered as the name suggests, pancakes in all kinds of variations from sweet to vegetarian and vegan. Ice specialities and coffee and cakes at the coffee time. Current day offers complement the range of offers. we let us pamper with : In Provence 1 pancake with 2 pieces. Goat cheeses, acacia honey, walnuts, pears and thyme I love the fine Mediterranean touch 21,60 Euro farm 1 buckwheat pancake with lush bacon, onions, fresh mushrooms and cream fraiche prima 18,90 Euro La Normandie 1 pancake with caramelized apple slices, raisins, roasted almond van sauce and Calvado. 13.80 Euro For this we drank delicious milk coffee, which as usual in France, was served in large drinking bowls very creamy, fluffy milk foam . Only the portions should have been somewhat larger, especially since the pricing was in the upper price segment."

"The traditional farm Ual Ferings Wiartshüs Altes Föhrer Wirtshaus is located in the middle of the small Friesendorf Oldsum on the Sraße Wyk Süderende Utersum . The inn is located in a typical Northern Frisian clinker building and consists of several rooms in which around 25 tables are located. In addition, there is a hall for up to 120 people and in spring, summer and autumn, if temperatures are allowed, a garden terrace with about 40 seats. The menu is very extensive and offers everything the heart desires; be it soups, appetizers, fish or meat dishes, fragrant Frisian house kitchen, various variations of carvings, leaf boards in a variety of compositions, vegetarian dishes, children's card and dessert. The cook is dedicated to the matter and to all dishes, prepared with bourgeois effects and original ambience, and especially fresh, delicious for me. My favorites at several visits were the Föhrer fish soup with vegetable strips, Föhrer fish pot and smoke salmon with honey mustard dill sauce with potato torosti. The boss and the staff were very busy, friendly and always for a little chat. They saw that there was a lot of love for the profession and that the guest was welcome. Opening hours: End of October, see 11:30 14:30 and 17:00 21:30. Another comment on Oldsum: Worth seeing is the Oldsumer Mill and still a curiosity about Oldsum, consisting of the three parts of Oldsum, Clinicality and Töftum, there is no single street name but only house numbers. In the old part of the place you can still find yourself right, as the old numbers are forgiven in order with the newly built houses, but you have their difficulties as it goes here in a cuddly way. So try to get to the Navi, make it impossible to ask. Despite everything the Ual Fering Wiartshüs you will always find."

"Unfortunately we were not satisfied this time in Lohdeel. A few years ago we were more often in the Lohdeel and always satisfied. The plaice was very dry and the lamb haxe made the impression not to be fresh. After that we learned that the host has changed since our last visit. The Lohdeel is a very nice location and I very much hope that the quality of the food will be better again and therefore also justify the upscale prices."
