in the late Sunday afternoon has eaten a bit. the weather was fabulous, so sat outside. eating was really good. highly recommended

had a really delicious meal here. our server was really friendly and fun, the atmosphere was beautiful and the decor is really beautiful. I had that huh and it was amazing. was a great little stop with the family.

more amazing place to have a Sunday roast. everything was perfectly cooked and was a good size portion. do not expect to stack toby carvery on the vege. they pay for the quality of food and not quantity. will definitiw back

excellent eating, fab friendly staff! we have just come from a weekend of Christmas shopping in cirencester with friends to home, so I have booked a table in bear for Saturday night and it was not disappointed! we all had the Christmas cake and it was incredible! beautiful cozy atmosphere, we would definitely recommend.

The restaurant says they offer a gluten-free menu, but in reality, they simply hand you a menu and cross off items they cannot modify. This approach feels unwelcoming, especially since they could easily offer gluten-free bread to increase options. However, they do stand out by offering gluten-free calamari and onion rings, which is quite rare.

Really happy that we decided to go to the Bear this evening for some food, everything about the whole experience was first class. All the staff were friendly and professional. A big shout out to the chef, the food was faultless....perfect portion sizes and tasted amazing! We will definitely be visiting again soon, two very happy diners :D! Thanks Again. Dominic Aaliyah

Visited the Bear Inn during our weekend getaway and what a find it was. Greeted by the bar staff on arrival and shown to a table by the host. Great knowledge of drinks from the bar staff who recommended a lovely tasting cider. Bavette steaks were delicious and our little one enjoyed the roasted crown prince squash and parsley and shallot crumbed carrots. Those visiting the area, would highly recommend. Top stuff all!

We had Bear Inn on our radar when we planned our trip to Cirencester just to try their Sunday roast. The pub looks great and has good charm. The Sunday roast was tasty but their Yorkshire pudding was dark brown and tasted burnt. It kind of messed up the taste of their wonderful gravy, roast potatoes and meat. I guess we had a bad batch of Yorkshire pudding. Otherwise, the roast was a good experience. Sophie who handled our billing was nice to talk to and she was courteous.
