Had roast dinners in other places but the bear in staff was by far the best. We was served by Joshua who was really cheerful and was so helpful. Would recommend this pub. Me and my mum are looking forward to going back.

Had a lovely meal here on Sunday. My parents in law, love coming here and rate the food highly. Service is great in the restaurant, special mention to josh who looked after us and is attentive and friendly. Thanks from the Maguire's.

Wonderful staff make this place. Food is good and the setting has such tradition but it is the friendliness of Britt , Carl etc that makes us feel welcome. Even Finn on just his second day has picked up that friendly vibe. Lovely evening. Ver carta

Excellent customer service Carl Josh and the team always very professional and helpful always the warmest of welcome excellent new menu’s will always check any allergy with the chef can recommend Sunday roast and fish and chips excellent and sticky toffee pudding cheesecake

Best pub in South Liverpool for a pint in the sunshine. Customer service is first class. Welcoming staff who go above and beyond sets this place apart from everywhere else. Have to give a special mention to Josh and Eleanor and Chris. They were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

We just popped in for a cool drink on a warm day and decided to have a bite to eat too. Joshua and the staff were excellent, very polite and attentive. The food was excellent quality and a good quantity and to be honest we could not find any faults. Price was reasonable which was reflected in the said quality of the food. Will we return?
