"Consistently and without doubt the best fish and chips on the island. I have to drive past two other places on the way there and do so with a smile on my face. The batter is so crispy it holds the weight of the fish on its own. I’m yet to find a bone. The chips are perfect. That’s all I can say about them. I asked my 4 year old what she wanted for her birthday and she said chips from here and I understand why. If I get reincarnated as a fish I won’t be disappointed if I end up in their deep fat fryer. Whatever they do,they just need to keep doing it."

This is probably the best fish and chips on the island, even though it doesn't have the traditional or classic appearance. It's a popular spot among locals who come for the delicious food. It's really more of a 3.5. As a Yorkshireman, I have high standards when it comes to my fish and chips. The chips were a little dry, but still decent. The fish was large and flavorful, though not as light as I prefer. However, it was still quite enjoyable. The mushy peas were excellent, and all of this came at a great price. I will definitely return.
