"For my wife and me, the Belcafé on Bellevue Square is one of the most popular places in the city for several reasons. First, their coffee is of great quality, so their sandwiches are like those with roast beef we had this morning. The staff is...usually very friendly and they try to be as fast and efficient as possible, even if there is a queue at the switch, which is often the case. Alone, we like to sit inside the window and read one of the newspapers that are available and free to read. At other times we sit on one of the few tables outside, people watch over this busy place or with a conversation, sometimes with people from a neighboring table. Sometimes we arrange appointments with friends in the Belcafé, especially as it is in a place where several trams cross. We have a glass of white wine here before we go to a restaurant for dinner."

For a quick lunch the sandwiches are the best in Zurich with a wide variety. Friendly service as well.

We got a quick lunch here, pizza, and we got what we wanted. The pizza is beautiful and also the delicious hot chocolate.

Says Espresso 2.90 order and it costs u 4.30. Why? You know, 2.90 is the Italian espresso called Ristretto. Check sign. Awful.

Went there regularly for lunch during school. Cheap pizza by the slice (or whole) that is equaly good to most Italian restaurants. Ver carta

It's a kiosk style place to get pizza take away. Cheap prices, good taste, no complications -- just order, wait 5 min for your pizza and go. Great!

Great home cooked pizza, with choice of toppings. Usual favorites of ham, pineapple, salami, etc and vegetarian optionsPrompt service which is fantastic when eating with kids. As well as the added distraction of the ever busy Bellevue Tram Stop.Very well priced for a family budget and consistent in quality. Does not disappoint.Outdoor and indoor seating, with quick turnover. Our family favorite.

You only have something here if you really have to. The food is bad and too expensive. Even the drinks are inexpensive. The only thing that is good is the pizza that seems to be a little separated from the place as it has its own window....The pizza is good and the ingredients are fresh, but the offer is limited. I had the worst apple cake in Europe. Freeze, sealed and refused to heat. Even the cappuccino was subpar. Ver carta

We have been going here for over 10 years. It has first class coffee, with a great selection of sandwiches and pastries. For Zürich standards, the prices are not so bad. The staff here are very friendly, professional and helpful. It's great to stop off and have a cup of coffee and a gipfeli (croissant). For those that like to indulge, they have a liquor licence and there is a good range of wines and spirits. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were out looking for a quick place to eat after a long day of traveling. We stumbled across Belcafe. It looked busy with people from the area so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a 14" pizza to share, a beer and a glass of Melbec, the bill was just under 20 Swiss francs. The young lady who helped us was very polite, personable and spoke English. Good service and tasty pizza. Crust thin and tasted excellent, my husband who never eats the crust finished mine. Not overly cheesy, good ratio of crust, cheese and sauce. Not the most romantic place but great for people watching as we sat outside. Very interesting and fun assortment of people at night.

"I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for the last few months. It is a very homely restaurant with a reasonably nice design. The food is good but unfortunately there is little choice. The menu salad is always the same and the second menu is always risotto with chicken in different sauces, although the white risotto that is always available is very good and the chicken is sometimes over-fried. The ravioli are very good but rather a small portion. What I miss about the restaurant is the relationship with the guests. Although they are very friendly, they unfortunately lack the personal commitment that makes you feel comfortable and come back so that it becomes a part of my life. As far as the culinary is concerned, it is very limited, which I think is a shame because Italian cuisine would offer so many possibilities to surprise the guest with different dishes. But I also understand that you are limited in your choice of food due to the space. What I unfortunately miss is this personal commitment, which would be possible at this size of restaurant. I think it's a shame that there's no spaghetti. Go by and see for yourself. What I miss is the warmth that you should show your regular customers. Simply the personal conversation that defines the top restaurants in Zurich. Nevertheless, I wish the restaurant much success. Maybe my criticism will bring something positive. I definitely wish the restaurant much success."

In Zürich gibt genug andere, bessere Thai-Restaurants."
