"This is a very small restaurant located quite far away from the main harbour. Staff were friendly and food was okay, but definitely overpriced. My partner and I were very keen to visit this restaurant after reading some amazing reviews, however, we were disappointed when we arrived. The restaurant’s website claims it to be the most romantic restaurant in Italy and 6th most romantic in the world, however this is a bit of a stretch. The restaurant is very small, accommodating only around 6 tables in total, 5 of which had a sea view. Since we visited for dinner, we couldn’t appreciate the views very much as it was dark outside, but I imagine it to be lovely during the day. The food was pretty good, my partner ordered the lasagne and I had the shrimps (I thought I was ordering prawns as stated on the menu, but I was presented with shrimps). The lasagne was very good, but I was far from delighted with my seafood as it wasn’t as was described on the menu and was simply overpriced. Albeit, I thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu, and ended up getting another! The website asks for a €40pp deposit when making a reservation, which can be reached rather comfortably, however this restaurant is not ‘high end’ enough to demand such high deposits. There are plenty of other restaurants in Amalfi serving cheaper food, in more convenient locations with no deposit requirement. Overall, I didn’t have a terrible experience, but it did not live up to the standards I was expecting after reading so many raving reviews about it. It essentially felt like I was sat in someone’s living room that had been rearranged to look like a restaurant with average food and cheap table/chairs etc, making this experience far from ‘the most romantic dinner’."

"Restaurant located in a small square in Amalfi adjacent to the cathedral square. Courteous staff, helpful and attentive to customer needs Raw materials of absolute quality, the fish ones deserve a particular mention for the goodness and quality of the product offered. The wine list is excellent with top quality products. Price appropriate to the quality of the raw materials, the quality of the dishes and the location."

"Ottimo, non bisogna per forza essere critici gastronomici, per affermare che un piatto di tagliatelle con gamberi e pomodorini, è veramente buono,e che dire dei ravioli alla zucca, il dessert poi: millefoglie scomposta ai lamponi... Sublime. Eleganza e semplicità la fanno da padrone al ristorante Raffaele, cibi squisiti e personale sempre sorridenti e gentili. Il menù di stagione è ottimo, con piatti della tradizione rivisitati, e ingredienti freschi. Siamo stati veramente bene, ma la sorpresa finale, è stato il conto: veramente economico per quello che abbiamo avuto, e per il posto in cui siamo. Torneremo di sicuro a Ravello, e la nostra tappa culinaria, sarà il Ristorante da Raffaele .. Grazie Grazie Grazie"

"Beautiful views overlooking the island of Capri great service in a family owned environment. So clean and an exceptional continental breakfast. Their dining room for lunch and dinners served phenomenal food some of the best we had out of multiple cities in Italy. The room was quiet and updated great Wifi, too. We enjoyed the pool deck which served food and drinks. You will love it here!"

"Ogni anno trascorriamo le vacanze estive ad Atrani per cui conosciamo bene molti ristoranti della zona ed in particolare quelli che si trovano nella pittoresca piazzetta di Atrani. Ieri sera abbiamo prenotato un tavolo da Mistral ed abbiamo mangiato molto bene ad un prezzo giusto. Il pesce era ottimo e Danilo, che ci ha serviti al tavolo, e’ stato come sempre molto gentile e disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Consigliamo vivamente questo ristorante."
