Always an amazing experience at Berners! One of our favorite restaurants in London and such a beautiful decor! Only what I would say is to bring the potatoes back with the lamb, please steam potatoes is not the one!

We always have a fabulous time in Berners Tavern. The staff and friendly, the food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxed. The wine can be on the expensive side, but unlike that, a really favorite of ours.

The place and service are great but feels like we are paying premium for the rent more than for the food. Mac and cheese for £30 I was hoping for some kind of unexpected twist but it was just a normal good mac and cheese. Fish and chips also looks like a good regular gastro pub fish and chips. Was it worth it? I don’t think so.

An incredible end to a memorable trip through Europe. I wanted to find a place that was “nice,” but not too stuffy, and Berners was perfect for this. The service was great attentive, but not suffocatingly so. The ambiance was just what I was looking for, too — it felt very British with the ornately framed prints hanging on all four walls. The food was classic and above average — nothing to complain about. Overall, such a great experience.

Staff were ultra-professional, polite, friendly and welcoming. Possibly the nicest dining room I've ever been in. Table snacks of truffled arancini and salmon tartlets were outstanding. Bread and butter was nice. Sparkling water was good. Champagne trolley was nice touch. Chicken salad was nice but could have been better. Macaroni cheese was presented in lovely black Staub dish; rich, comforting and luxurious (cheese sauce was perfect)but very little lobster in it. Choux bun was very crispy but everything else in dessert was magnificent. Trifle clearly executed by somebody who knew their business. Both desserts had visual wow factor., Coffee could have been warmer but that's personal taste.

When I say the servers here are extremely attentive I mean it as praise and detractor. We barely sat down and within the space of two minutes at least three or four staff came over champagne trolley, water, menus, wine list, sommelier. Nice to have the attention of the staff but give us a minute to settle in and adjust (especially as it felt like a hundred degrees in there). I’m sure many people like being waited on hand and foot but it’s not for everyone. Also the sommelier just showered us with recommendations without asking anything about preferences or even if we wanted wine in the first place, comes across a little aggressive. All food was good in like a 7/10 kind of way. Nothing mind b...
