"Das Essen war vorzüglich (frisch, schmackhaft, originell zubereitet, schön angerichtet etc. . Da gibt es wirklich nichts zu reklamieren. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind diskutabel: Gourmetessen darf sicher etwas kosten, weshalb das Mineral dann aber auch fast 10 Franken kostet und der Prosecco-Hibikusdrink 16 Franken ist m.E. nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Essensportionen dürften ein bitzeli grösser sein, sonst ist man nach Vorspeise und Hauptgang noch hungrig...Sehr gestört hat mich aber der Umgang mit Vegetariern: Auf der Karte war kein einziges Vegimenü aufgeführt. Und sogar das Fisch-Menü hatte Chorizo obendrauf. Auf meine Frage an den Service, was es für Vegis gäbe, wurde ich tatsächlich gefragt, ob ich denn kein Fleisch esse... Dann wurde mir das Fischmenü ohne Chorizo und das Wild-Menü ohne Wild angeboten. Das sind keine Vegi-Menüs! Da macht man es sich sehr einfach. Auf diesem Niveau und in der heutigen Zeit ein absolutes No Go!"

"We have been ordering from Burgeramt on and off for 5 years. Always in the same TOP quality since the first time! Today we discovered again that all other burger suppliers in our region cannot keep up with Burgeramt. Telephone contact is always very friendly. My favorite is definitely the Amtburger and Rösti Fries. Everything homemade and super tasty. It's just a shame that you can't order over lunch on the weekend. Otherwise absolutely great, gladly again."

"We went to Brunnentor on a double date last Saturday and had a great dinner. As a hotelier I respect restaurants that not only get it right, but do so consistently. It's easy for Michelin starred restaurants to do it with their ridiculously exorbitant prices and their large kitchen brigades, it's much tougher to achieve this level when in a local casual dining restaurant with limited resources. I have been going to this place for years and the food service is always great, always the same. As always, I ordered a large pork schnitzel with carrots and spinach only, no fries. The veggies here are absolutely awesome, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection. I love the combination of greasy deep fried schnitzel with umami spinach and tender carrot batonets. If you are into your fries then yes please order them. They are seasoned with a flavour enhancer and are pretty tasty. For starters we ordered 2 Nüsslisalats Mimosa (lambs lettuce salad, chopped boiled egg) and a steak tartare. The salad was fine, nothing special, the dressing tasted store bought and this could easily have been tossed up at home by a novice. I don't normally order Steak Tartare as I am simply not a lover of raw minced beef. Carpaccio I enjoy but not tartare. Nevertheless I did taste some from my friend and it was tasty, perfectly seasoned with a hint of spice. For mains everyone ordered a schnitzel and everyone enjoyed what they were served. Fried thinly battered and bread crumbed pork or veal. For desserts we ordered a Black Forest ice cream ball and a coupe, both good. This is our local and we will return. Thanks very much."

"Bei meinem letzten Besuch war das Restaurant voll, das Stübli voll, der kleine Saal mit einer Hochzeit voll und der grosse Saal zu einem Drittel mit einer Gesellschaft besetzt. Trotzdem wurde man schnell, freundlich und gut bedient. Das für die Gruppe bestellte Menu kam sehr schnell und von sehr guter Qualität auf den Tisch. Erfreulich auch, es gab noch Nachservice von Allem. Selbst für die Mitesser, die sich gar nicht angemeldet hatten hatte es genügend und war sehr schnell aufgetischt. Zeugt von Beweglichkeit."
