"Asked the guy servicing how long will my 1 piece chicken 6 wings going to take before I order, he said 5-8 minutes. Customers come and go, got there food, my mate ordered same time as me finished his, the other mate received his 6/7 minutes before me, and he ordered the wings, which mine was meant to be spicy once I received the food but were no flavour and vile. The attitude of the staff after I received my food was disgusting, I even told the guy who served me, make sure there’s chilli as I was about to pay, and then after he comes out with, no you have to pay for it. Never ever again. Flies near the bin which is in the kitchen, toilet out of use. No air condition as they say it doesn’t “work”. Worse big johns in Birmingham by a country mile. AVOID! Walked in at 10:26PM which is 34 mins before closing time and was rudely greeted with CLOSED. Disgusting service/behaviour would not recommend to anyone. Manager needs to have a word with staff if they are saying they are closed 34 mins before closing time Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Just recently ordered 4 pieces of wings and chips, and waited for a while just for me to get one drumstick and one wing , this is not the first time they are messing up my order I don’t like drumsticks!! "We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."

"This is my favourite place to grab lunch. It has a wide variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and some hot food. The prices are good and the food tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and very switched on when it comes to allergy information. My diet is quite restrictive, however I have so much choice here. I can't recommend it enough!"

"My first visit, and it was a fantastic experience. Really enjoyed speaking with the friendly team (Khal and Esther and learning from them. Walked out with far more wine than I went in for and a smile on my face!
