"Heard the word? (sorry) Bird is AMAZING. I’d heard it mentioned and lauded by friends but never really knew much about it – other than assuming (correctly and understandably) that it served up fried chicken. But, rather than being a cheapy Chicken Cottage type affair, Bird bring Southern Fried goodness firmly into the forefront of London’s foodie gems. Upon arrival around 5.30pm on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was very quiet so our booking was almost unnecessary but the space filled up more as we ate. As the restaurant was quiet, we were served quickly and our food was with us around 15mins after ordering the only fault I'd mention for service was actually that three seperate staff members asked us if our food was okay unnecessary, but hardly hugely problematic! Rather than the below pictured Original Waffle Burger, I had the signature Fried Chicken, Waffles and Syrup. I really didn’t think it would work but it SO TOTALLY DID. Seriously, wow. The chicken itself was fried to perfection – a crispy exterior encasing soft, falling off the bone meat, complemented perfectly by the sweetness of the runny maple syrup. I also picked up some fries with my dish definitely a solid choice, well cooked and delicious but still paling into comparison to the wonder that was my main dish. Quite honestly you probably don't need sides doing this but the variety of glazes for the chicken wings is impressive, with something for all tastes. There's a slight focus on Asian flavours for a lot of the glazes too. I've already actually made plans to make a return visit and for someone who tends to try loads of restaurants rather than go back to regulars, that’s a big seal of approval."

Menu looks cool. Service is great with the lovely stuff. I suggest to try out waffles. It 's a little bit costy for the 'french size ' dishes.

One must visit a Bird restaurant to indulge in an amazing doughnut ice cream sandwich at least once in their lifetime but only after experiencing the main attraction a Bird waffle burger. At just under fifteen pounds it doesn't come very cheap, but it's

The atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is polite and quick. The food is phenomenal, though on the pricier side. They frequently have specials, making it quite budget-friendly. This location is very quiet, and the wait time to be seated and served is really minimal. Overall, I would give this restaurant a solid 5/5.

This place wasn't the worst neither was it the best, me and my friends went for a light lunch. I had the boneless tender chicken and I did finish it all because the sauce they gave it with was amazing the chicken was dry by itself and had no flavour. I also bought the korean chips which had a special chilli sauce and cheese over it with chilli ontop and it tasted exactly like spicehut chips wasn't overly fascinated by the food here :

Was here only for the donut sandwich... and it was brilliant!! As Joey would put it... donuts goood, ice cream gooood, cream goood!What's not to love in smooth creamy and just the right amount of cold ice cream sandwiched between soft well made donuts, covered in mildly sweetened cream! There's also a drizzling of chocolate sauce and a cherry on top!! This is one of the best desserts I have had.. was totally worth hunting down the place and changing 2 buses to get here. Totally recommended!

This was my first experience trying chicken and waffles, and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The waffles were light, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The chicken was crispy and not greasy at all. I drizzled maple syrup over the waffles because I love that sweet and salty combination, and I think they also offer extra bacon on the side. It also comes with a sort of whipped butter that you can spread on the waffles. I enjoyed it with a beer and a side of pickles, and I would definitely like to come back. It was the perfect meal!

Didn't know how I would feel about chicken, syrup and waffle but now I've experienced this place I'm definitely glad I tried it! The chicken was so crispy and none greasy it was perfect! The combination worked really well together I can see why Americans love this. My friends had the full waffle burger with bacon and cheese which looked great but way too much to eat for one person! We also tried the honey glazed wings plus Korean glazed ones. I highly rate both of these. The donut unfortunately was dry but the icing was nice. Ice cream and cream unfortunately doesn't make it any better.

ramadan mubarak all! How are you going fast? the mine alhamdullilah has developed very well. a thing that I noticed for this year is the rise of restaurants that offer an iftar menu. it is really amazing to see so many restaurants in london are catering for these common. even if I prefer to stay at home for iftar (especially because I'm not a night person and it doesn't like to go out at night), some of the menus that lure me out of my nativity scene look out. especially if it comes from a delicious chicken restaurant called bird and you can enjoy it together with other Mitchal foods – how can I not say that!?
