Bird In Hand - Menú

Have been there twice in the last few months for a quick business lunch. Good menu for lunch with lots to chose from at very reasonable prices. Coffee was perfect.

Came with a friend for Christmas drinks and nibbles and everything was perfect. Service was spectacular from Brandon and will and the drinks and food were amazing! Would definitely recommend going!

I visited last week with my family for the birthday of my oma. there was only one employee who was very helpful and beautiful, all the other employees had hired. most of the food was pretty, but the atmosphere that created the personal ruined it for.

Been coming here for a while now and have never been disappointed. The food is as is the service always! Thanks Brandon you and your team do us proud everytime! The Sunday roast is without a doubt the best roast dinner I’ve had in...any restaurant x you truly look after us hence us returning so often. Thank you x

this is an absolutely charming country pub. a roaring fire, delicious food, great drinks and fabulous service for an absolutely fantastic evening. my lemon chicken and drown and ham Risotto main was delicious and our entire group had an absolutely beautiful evening and were...incrediblely well supervised by the fantastic team of employees. a joy, we'll be back soon!

would recommend the vogel in the hand. beautiful atmosphere, very good friendly service and eating was amazing. the baked chill camembert was really enjoyable, the bark sirloin roast were top notch and all our deserts were of the highest quality from the rubarb and custard. to the chocolate fudge brownie. this is a really nice old fashion country pub and we can not wait to visit again.

Very disappointing experience. My Sunday roast took almost an hour to come out and I got very thin slices of dry bacon being passed off as pork loin. Potatoes were dry and old. All the vegetables were partially cooked and inedible. Children’s burgers were...enjoyed by them and was the only bit of the meal that was not sent back or left. I wouldn’t have paid for the meals, let alone the being charged.

Main course delicious, however… Pudding different to one i ordered on a ‘pre-order’ menu clearly clearing out Christmas stock. Lemon tart was very average, probably shop bought and not worth the money! Crayfish tail cocktail on menu turned out to be small prawn...cocktail ! Waitress couldn’t tell me whether they had Fevertree tonics … just offered me skinny tonic, knew nothing about Rose wine either. Drinks prices extortionate This is pub service and staff trying to offer gourmet food Disappointing

visited after many years for a special Valentine's Day evening that was not out for this occasion because of covid. easy and fast booking. we have a booking for and arrived fast greeting excellent and fast on our table shown initial drinks .fine order fine starter fine and excellent eating main dish catastrophe! we waited and waited, at least six more tables were served their starters and also their main dishes served and still no main courses for us. summary very nice eating, evening experience very bad.
