"If you find yourself in Dunkeld, be sure to visit the Country Bakery. The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful! During our lunch visit, we enjoyed a selection of sausage rolls, a broccoli and chicken pasty, and shared a mouthwatering toasted Italian chicken sandwich. It was so good that one of our friends couldn't resist getting one for themselves. We also picked out a variety of pastries to enjoy later on the coach, but unfortunately they were mistaken for trash and thrown away by our driver at our next stop. They looked too good to pass up though! Don't miss out on a visit to the Country Bakery - let them know the Americans sent you!"

"We stumbled across this place on the last night of a fortnight in Scotland and couldn 't be more glad that we did and that they had space. We were seated promptly (underneath the fan thankfully considering the heatwave), asked whether we 'd eaten there before (we hadn 't), had the menu explained to us (suggested 3 tapas per person) and then left alone briefly to consider the menu. Once ordered, drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, followed by breads dips to tempt tide us over until our tapas arrived. It wasn 't very quick, but I didn 't think it was unduly long either just the right length of time for non fast food that is being prepared freshly. And when it arrived, we were delighted as it was delicious! The only slight disappointment was that salted cod wasn 't available, but that was soon forgotten. My personal favourite was the poached chorizo in red wine with honey glaze, but we were happy with all of our options (patatas bravas, haggis balls, pinchas de pollo, spinach chickpea stew, haddock in red pepper sauce and Spanish tortilla the latter really made by the spicy tomato salsa on the side). 5 between the two of us would probably have sufficed, which would have meant I had space for one of the ice creams, but in hindsight, I 'm glad I didn 't. Excellent service, delicious food, our best meal of our holiday. We probably won 't be back (living in Birmingham and all) but definitely would if we were local."

"The staff at this restaurant was a mixed bag - the older woman, who seemed to be the manager or owner, was very abrupt and unhelpful. It took a while for us to receive menus and her attitude left a lot to be desired. However, the younger girl who eventually took our order was lovely and the food was delicious. It was clear that the younger staff members were exceptional and perhaps had to make up for their boss, Julie. The older woman could benefit from some training or perhaps find a new job."

"Llevé a mi madre al restaurante Two Sisters para su cumpleaños el domingo pasado. Nos saludaron e informaron de inmediato sobre las opciones de brunch (es decir, especiales de buffet versus brunch y otros ajustes, como tocino de pavo en lugar de carne de cerdo). Creo que este es un gran lugar para un brunch relajado y definitivamente para una cita de madre e hija. Nos encantó la comida y el servicio. Condujimos a un Groupon y definitivamente volveremos a conducir sin el Groupon. Vale la pena."

"Took a spontaneous trip to Dunkeld a couple of Sundays ago and brought our dog with us. On the way, I googled doggy friendly places to eat and Z’s outdoor bar bistro came up. We decided to go there and I’m so glad that we did!! My partner seen someone else at a table nearby receive the Sunday roast and immediately made his mind up what he was going to get!! The roast came and it did not disappoint, the Yorkshire pudding was massive!!! I got the seafood basket, which was also really tasty! It did arrive quite on the cold side but it didn’t matter as I still enjoyed it and we were also eating outside in the marque next to the river! The staff were all so super friendly as well and also very accommodating with our dog. We are so glad you recommended the doggy ice cream this kept him occupied for some time and he loved it! Thanks again for such a lovely meal and we will definitely be back!"
