The Bistro is located under a modern dome, creating a bright and airy space with a wall of glass offering views of the well-kept garden. The semi-open kitchen adds to the sense of space. While we appreciated the setting, those seeking a more intimate and romantic atmosphere may not find it here. We had dinner here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The French Onion soup was especially delightful although everything we ordered was lovely. The meal was also perfectly paced so we didn't feel rushed.

We were gifted a champagne afternoon tea for two at HDW, so we decided to stay at the hotel and make a weekend out of it. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and our standard room, though small, was nicely decorated. The breakfast was somewhat underwhelming with slow service and limited options, but it did the job. The champagne afternoon tea was delicious with some unique twists. Overall, it was a relaxing mini getaway.
