"I really like this place. I have been to this simple restaurant with a close friend of mine on several occasions. I first went on Valentine’s Day, when I had imagined that the restaurant would be full of diners contrarily; the restaurant was completely empty throughout the night. The restaurant has continued to be very quiet during each of my subsequent visits. In my opinion, it isn’t because the food is bad, but likely due to the crisis in the local economy—my friend has assured me that the place has more patronage during lunchtime. We often order an antipasto misto with mixed meats and cheeses, which is always served with honey (once, even two types of honey and bread. The bread at Bistrot is lightly salted, unlike the typical bland soapy bread often found in restaurants in the surrounding area. Sometimes I am a creature of habit, and I usually skip the primo and go straight for meat the tagliata with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and shaved cheese (I think pecorino, but it could be parmisan… I guess I didn’t pay enough attention! is my go to meal. I have never been disappointed! The cook is always spot on and the meat is dressed with a bit of balsamic vinegar and assorted salts on the side. The attention to details such as honey and salt really sets this restaurant apart from similarly prices places in the surrounding villages. Strangely, during my last trip to the restaurant, we weren’t served any of the various salts. However, I am sure if we asked for it the manager would gladly provide us some. For wine, ask for a recommendation. We often take a cheap 2011 Shiraz that is quite good. On the downside, the music in the restaurant is sometimes a little too loud for the atmosphere. Sometimes there is some nice acoustic Brazilian/Portuguese music on, but sometimes the music cheapens the experience. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends! Atmosphere: 8/10; Service: 9/10; Location: 8/10."

First visit with Italian friend and it certainly wont be our last. We took the seafood options and it was brilliant, the wines were also exceptional.

There was a mistake in typing the stars in my previous review! I am very sorry. Nice cozy place and special food! I recommend it! I will definitely come back!

very welcoming, family. try for the gothic papillae a great fried of squids and shrimps, a cacio and really has pepper, and a taste of risotto and exhilarating cut ... to the next to be able to try other dishes created by the chef.

We had such a lovely meal here! The pasta with truffles and cheese was incredible and the Argentinean and Danish beef was prepared in three different styles which were all delicious but the star of the evening was the chocolate fondant which was absolutely to die for! Wine was great too!

a beautiful discovery. romantic location, very pleasant and typical. excellent sea dishes. raw appetizer, very fresh. the fried squids and shrimps, really very good. freshness and quality reign in every tried dish. attentive and attentive staff. only inconvenience: the ocire of the local engaged by the smell of fried. However, it is worth returning to get fresh fish and delicious dishes.

What a find! Nothing was a problem for the lovely staff at this restaurant. We called to say that we were going to be arriving late, almost closing time but they kept the kitchen open specially for us. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant most of the afternoon they weren't rushing us out. They were extremely nice and couldn't do enough for us. The food was great. We mostly had fish dishes which were all good, especially the mixed starter €15 per person). Would highly recommend it. Also the pistacchio tiramisu and the house white wine. Both were excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and to the staff, keep up the good work!!!

My boyfriend and I were staying in Nepi and wanted to try out Bistrot, after being a recommendation from friends. We tried to get a table on Saturday night without a reservation but unfortunately they were booked out so we made a reservation for a few days later, so I would recommend booking for Friday Saturday evening as it seems to be a popular spot with the locals! We were the only diners there that evening, and we receieved incredible service from Luca. He was very friendly and spoke enough English to translate a couple of things from the menu we were unsure of! On the menu, there were a great selection of fresh seafood and meat dishes. We both had ragu to start and the steak with pepper...
