Bistrot du Grand Louis

My daughter and I called us on the way to Bordeaux. We had a really nice meal, very fresh and well cooked and also very cheap. The staff was very friendly and attentive and I would recommend this restaurant for a meal.

I was surprised at the quality of the dishes served in this restaurant more exactly in this brewery. The dishes are insipid, there is a lack of flavors. the presentation of plates and the service are correct but it does not do everything. I'm not coming back.

We were disappointed at our last dinner in this establishment. We used to go to the neighborhood. Everything is still at the rendezvous (location, reception, atmosphere) but the quality ratio of the plate / price to severely dropped compared to what we used to see. Ver carta

We discovered this restaurant called gastronomic bistro. nothing more than a brewery with products accompanied by a julienne of fresh vegetables. no red wine under 30€. note, however, a good welcome and a beautiful decoration. we are very disappointed with the quality report price ...

A friendly French brasserie with great atmosphere, reservation required, friendly employees, smiling, and they speak English. Must try their Carpaccio and Para Negra Ham from Spain. Delicious steak tartar, Great portion, and superb ice cream and tasty espresso. This place in Paris will cost you...2-3x more. Will come back.

We were looking for a place to eat close to Bordeaux Merignac airport on a Thursday evening. Found this restaurant by sheer coincidence and what a revelation... It was their live Jazz evening, fully booked, but a table was found for the five of us....Very nice special menu du jour, excellent wines. This place filled up rapidly after our arrival. A large cross-section of ages. Very efficient staff. To be commended.

found thanks to the internet and booked through tripadvisor, I was not disappointed. The place is nice and, apart from some understanding problem, everything is smooth yarn. the cutter in 2 of mixed appetizers was not bad, but I do not understand why the sliced were covered by a slight layer of oil that however did not affect the taste of the same. then taken a coast of about 1 kg, good and grilled well even if perhaps here the prices are higher than from us... Choice of wines to the discreet glass, perhaps for what they cost (from 5 to 7 euro glass) I would have expected more from the same. not economic account but just for what we ate. Nice staff.

The Bistrot is all and more than described in the review. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. We had the best sea food platter with the most sumptuous cold snail I have ever tasted accompanied by a delicious white wine from the loire region....Since we wanted a taste of everything,after the seafood platter we had the steak which was perfection with a wonderful bottle of chateau reserve de Malaria pessac leognan. The desert was device, I kept looking for something to disagreeable but the restaurant lived up to its reputation and I give it a 100%. I love Bordeaux because of restaurants like this, I am taking my family there this Thursday for a repeat. Will give feed back!!!! Ver carta
