Love this place.Plenty off choice and food always prepared fresh and presented well. Staff very friendly and helpful . Highly recommended.

Me and my partner went for lunch, my dear lady was hell bent on soup, I'm not a soup fan, however here a soup of the day and sandwich of your choice was very very tasty, well worth popping in for breakfast or lunch if in the area.

The Black Horse Food Emporium is a wonderful place to visit. The menu is always changing with daily specials and the food is delicious. I’ve visited many times and the food and service are excellent. You are always made to feel welcome and if you have any questions about the food the staff are extremely knowledgeable.

You are in for a great time when you visit Black Horse Food Emporium. From a quick cup of coffee to a fabulous Thursday evening special you are treated as a valued customer. The staff are friendly and professional, helpful and in Cliffs case entertaining. He has a chat with you and is so knowledgeable about where he resources his produce. The food is freshly prepared and attractively presented. Value for money is the Thursday evening tea time special £9.95 for 2 courses. Don’t just take my word for it give The Black Horse a go. We thought this was still a pub so was pleasantly surprised to find it had been converted into a Deli, selling a wide range of products all sourced locally and a good menu choice, mostly healthy options and sandwiches. An ideal place for a lunch time visit or for cake and coffee when shopping in Accrington. We have visited twice now, the first time was quiet the second time very busy so it may be advisable to book a table to avoid disappointment, depending on what time you visit. The only negative was that when it was busy, we had to wait a considerable time for both food and drinks. There is not a licence to sell alcohol so don't be disappointed if you normally have a drink with your food!

We called in here today on the off chance that they had a free table for lunch. The lady that greeted us was lovely and found us a table straight away, bringing us menus and the special boards and took our drinks order while we chose. The inside is lively and clean and well presented. There was no feeling of being rushed at any point. My partner ordered a club sandwich and a coffee and I ordered a sweet chilli wrap and a Diet Coke. We didn’t have to wait long, while the food was cooked freshly for us. I was visiting my daughter and decided to treat her to breakfast. I looked on Trip Advisor and this place came up, so we decided to walk with her little cocker spaniel, it was raining heavily and when we arrived we were all wet and feeling a bit soggy but we received a lovely welcome. We had the full English, yes a bit pricey and not the best we have had, although it was tasty and enjoyable, we have had nicer. But it’s the lovely friendly atmosphere that made the morning for us, we met some fabulous people who are regulars and welcomed us with a smile and lovely conversation, the staff were also lovely, friendly but professional.
