"have visited them twice, once for a Sunday dinner and once on Saturday for lunch with their main menu, both paintings as couple. eating is very honest, this place is an absolute gem. do not expect from a chic or modern decor, which is a typical local pub, but it is clean and the personal is so friendly and helpful. Sunday was a nicer atmosphere, families and older couples, while the Saturday was less welcoming in the bar with football fans (and the speeches that go with it! if I had been with my children I would have been really disappointed and uncomfortable, but since it was only adult I did not thank me so much and could mostly ignore it. and eating it makes it worth while! a steak, boiled to perfection, all sides pierced hot and fresh and the presentation of the appetizers is nice. the sunday roast was great, with the best telton and broccoli soup I've ever had! the puddings are equally impressive. if they really want to eat really well cooked home and they are with their other half or friends, don't hesitate to come here. but if they are with children, they stay on a Sunday. we will be 100% back."

"Went in today after my eye test across the way. Ordered food drinks to sit in for 2 ordered a takeaway butty for my fella. Busy with customers of mixed ages but quiet in sound not noisy , lovely food latte. Friendly officiant staff although busy felt the service was personal and not rushed. It was very clear alot of repeat customers in here who are looked after well so of course return. Very nice to experience a friendly personable atmosphere unlike some places where your just a number to be called or a value to pay. The prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely be recommending to family friends and be back soon . Thank you all. "2nd visit here and was a spur of the moment meal. Staff really on the ball to get menu and drinks sorted. Nice poppadoms and pickles tray to start, then a Dhansak which was sweer rather than hot and sour, still really good. Washed down with a pint of bicycle club IPA, first for me and very drinkable. All that for a touch under £22. Bargain. Will be back next time I'm working in the area. Service: Dine in"

"I have booked a table for Mother Sunday, so many people have heard that I was beautiful on Sunday afternoon. I wasn't a bit disappointed. from the time we went into the time we went we had different waiter and waitress. everything very polite and smiles(what I have to do in the restaurant world) and could not do enough for us. the 3 cursor meal was so delicious, hot and plentiful. and much time between the curses. All I can say, I will definitely go back and if everyone asks me where to go to the beautiful Sunday dinner there is only one place I will say."

"I have booked a surprise stay here for my friend birthday, at the arrival we were advised by a beautiful dame and shown in our room, we were in excessive oliven, a room with a whirlpool tub and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed! we also came to dinner in the evening and eating was absolutely delicious. When it comes to order drinks that we were served from the same dame from check-in, I run a pub to choose a drink that I was fed with the usual drinks, she recommended a gin-based drink that I enjoyed very much. we loved that much we have booked for fairytale! many thanks for an amazing time and we will see them again soon:"
