Wow, amazing pepper quiche and raspberry frangipani. Welcoming service. Great little find on whilst on our holiday. COVID compliant.

Lots of lovely local produce, freshly made deli items and baguettes, take away coffee etc. Small number of tables outside. Friendly service.

We bought a number of items here but its their delicious olive oil that I remember most. Its lovely as a dipping oil with balsamic with some good bread. Ver carta

we visited again yesterday and were not disappointed. the smells and the friendly welcome were even better than before. the mini quiches are absolutely devine and enough to tempt anyone away from a diet. pretty deli with lots on offer.

Cracking place, you can get all sorts of items here, pies, pickles, pasties, pate, pasta, pizza's. A whole load of all sorts. It's a must visit. Sit outside and watch the world drift by with a coffee and a panini of your choice or tea...and cake. One of Chagfords little gems

Popped in for some home picnic ingredients and left with THE most delicious pork pie and wee quiches. Pastry to die for on the pork pie. Yumm!!! Could have indulged in so much more from the tempting array of meats, cheeses, breads, sweet treats and...so much more. And great, friendly service. Ver carta

Black's is part of the beautiful fabric of this beautiful village. Charming emporium of edible delights, constantly being freshly made. I always have a Black's baguette for my moorland walk, and their quiches and pies are to die for, as are their salads. Charming, industrious...staff. Perfect.

I made my lunch a little special. simple tuna and gurke in an even warm brown baguette. not easy to be perfect in my experience, but that was how the service, smiling and clearly hard work to serve a pleasure. I could extend my waist by a few inches, but I will save this for my next visit. Thank you.

Delightful small deli, where you can stock up for your holiday cottage, or take away from the small but excellent selection of fresh salads, quiches the best I’ve tasted in years, crisp fine pastry and superbly balanced filling and other sweet and savoury...offerings. You could create a splendid picnic for walking on Dartmoor, or help yourself to coffee or tea and perch on a roadside chair with a filled baguette or brownie. Enjoy! Ver carta
