"We made the mistake of not booking ahead on a busy Friday night in the city (don’t make the same error!), but thankfully the waitress managed to fit us in. We were lucky to get a lovely window seat, perfect for people-watching. I ordered the Gnocchi Pesto, while my partner went for the Pizza Margherita since he “wasn’t feeling very Italian.” We both absolutely loved our meals! Honestly, I can’t stop thinking about that gnocchi. I also tried a Long Island Iced Tea—beware, they’re stronger than I’m used to, but still delicious! If I’m ever back in Glasgow, there’s no way I’m passing up a visit here. "Update: Visited again after 2 years, and both our dishes were sadly disappointing. The harissa relish on the halloumi sandwich was so incredibly salty that it made it inedible, and the dish with the slow cooked borlotti beans was nothing special, and the beans were harder than I like (and I don't like them mushy). 4 stars because the bread and the service are still fantastic, though. A M A Z I N G! I had the eggs baked in tomato parsley sugo, sweet paprika butterbeans and courgette and rocket pesto and it's honestly one of the best dishes I've had in Glasgow. Lovely ambience, wonderful service. I would definitely recommend it and we'll visit again, no doubt."
