"I wasn't sure what to expect from this place, but it turned out to be a proper old-style pub with a dark atmosphere and that familiar pub smell. The landlord greeted us warmly and made us feel at home. We all sat at a table and placed our drink orders, with a good selection available. We had pre-ordered food for our large party, with the chef impressing us with delicious dishes that were well worth the price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Overall, the price per person was £100+ and both the food and service were rated a 5, while the atmosphere was a 3. Recommended dishes included the Tower Chicken Fillet Burger, Chocolate Lovers Trio Dessert, and the Full or Half Rack of BBQ Ribs served with chips, peas, and coleslaw."

"well-proven hit on time and by a worker. a pleasant heart with a smile. our table was for my sister's birthday we had a relaxed waiting time. we gave our order for drinks and then for the meal .When the food arrived, it was hot and showed beautiful colorful and tasty.We ate our fill unfortunately there was a fair piece of fading, so I asked for a doggy bag that was done, we paid the house and went after. this experience was rewarding and yes we will book again well done nawab"

"I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had an amazing experience. The price per person ranged from £10–20, which I found to be quite reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. I would give both the food and service a rating of 5 out of 5. The recommended dishes, Fish Chips and Mushy Peas, as well as the Sausage, were delicious and I would definitely order them again. "As a family we decided to enjoy a mid week meal at Moorhayes. Suffice to say, it will be the last for a long time. The wine we ordered was served in dirty glasses, lipstick around every single one. When this was highlighted, no apology, the wine was poured into another glass, great, love having wine impregnated with somebody else 's lipstick. The meals were awful, the burgers were rock hard, when we made the staff aware, we were met with 'I suppose you want them replaced? ' No apology was offered, not quite a roll of the eyes, but it wasn 't far off, especially when we pointed out the fish wasn 't cooked all the way through either. The customers on the adjoining table weren 't happy with their meals either. Things can be forgiven for stuff that goes wrong, however if the staff can 't be bothered or even care to offer an apology, then it 's somewhere we won 't be returning to in a hurry."
