"We arranged to have lunch with friends. We had booked a table and when we arrived were shown to a table with views of the marina. Food was ordered and didn't take long to come out. I had some questions about gluten and dairy free options, which were answered. The steak I had in a ciabatta was fatty, which was a bit disappointing and was missing vegan cheese that was requested. But the meal itself was hot. The setting is lovely overlooking the canal. There is a children's play area and plenty of parking."

one of the best sunday roasts we had. fluffy yorkshires, crispy kartoffels and a good choice of meat. Nice to sit and watch the boats while the children play on the playground.

Uno de los mejores asados de los domingos que hemos tenido. Yorkshire esponjoso, patatas crujientes y una buena selección de carnes. Es agradable sentarse y mirar los barcos mientras los niños juegan en el parque infantil

stranger place, the dot seems to know that it was market. Eating was ok, but really nothing special and expensive for what it was. the personal is pleasant enough. because of the price and food quality and the ambientes would not return.

Lugar extraño, no parece saber que es el mercado ... La comida estaba bien, pero en realidad nada especial ni caro para lo que era. El personal es lo suficientemente agradable. Debido al precio y la calidad de la comida y el ambiente no volverían. Ver carta

Visited today and chose outside seats as the weather was lovely. Ordered starters and main courses at the bar along with drinks. The drinks arrived and some 25 minutes later the main course arrived. When we asked about the starters we were told they were...

This restaurant serves one of the best Sunday roasts we've had. The Yorkshire puddings are fluffy, the potatoes crispy, and there is a good selection of meats to choose from. It's a delightful experience to sit and enjoy the view of boats while the kids play on the playground.

The restaurant appears to be unsure about its target demographic. The food was okay but nothing outstanding, and the prices were high compared to the quality. The staff was friendly, but overall, I would not return to this restaurant because of the high prices and mediocre food. Ver carta

We had one of the best Sunday roasts at this restaurant. The Yorkshire pudding is light and airy, the potatoes are perfectly crispy, and there is a great variety of meats to choose from. It's a pleasant experience to sit and watch the boats while the children play in the playground.

This place is quite unusual and doesn't seem to know its market. The food was decent, but nothing particularly extraordinary and was overpriced for what we received. The staff were pleasant enough. However, considering the price, food quality, and atmosphere, I wouldn't choose to dine here again.

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."
