"I had high expectations for this restaurant based on the positive reviews I had heard, but I don't think I will be returning unless there are major changes in the service. The first waiter seemed in a rush, trying to take our food order before even asking about drinks. It was a bit strange considering the restaurant was not busy. When the starters arrived, there was confusion among the staff about which table they were for. The main courses were brought out while we were still eating our starters, and the server didn't even know what dish he was holding. The lack of attention to detail and communication was disappointing. The food was good, but the service really let it down. Staff were not very attentive or polite, as we were not even acknowledged when we left."

"I had a great experience during happy hour at the bar. I highly recommend trying the clams, empanadas, and olives. The Spanish wines were delicious. Be sure to order the paella upon arrival, even though it takes 45 minutes to prepare, it is definitely worth the wait. The yuca cake was outstanding. However, I did not enjoy the almond flan as it was too gritty for my taste."

"Food was lovely, then a gentleman enters to sit with presumably his son, some 3 footsteps from the door and is interrogated about wearing a mask by one staff member in his face and another shouting from the kitchen. Excruciating. A quiet, 'hi sir, are you exempt from wearing a mask? ' would have been appropriate instead of causing the old boy to have a red face in front of many customers. The food is lovely but the service has steadily declined, with an attitude of inconvenience about having to serve people, in particular from the female server of short stature. So glad was only in to spend a Christmas present voucher, we will never return to the cottage get out of the service industry if you can 't handle the constant inconvenience of customers."

"This is a fantastic place to eat. The restaurant is modern and spacious, very comfortable. Best Indian for many a mile!!! The service is second to none. Really lovely hosts The food was tremendous! Being a serial eater of Indian food all over the uk and particularly South Shields- I am often underwhelmed when trying a new place. This is easily as good if not better than any Indian restaurant or take away I’ve had for many years! The mixed pakora with sauce was without doubt the very finest pakora I can ever remember. The lamb in the Baltic was perfect The naan bread and chapatis were authentic and delicious, not to mention huge. The meals we both had were exceptional. DO NOT MISS OUT IF YOU ARE ANY WHERE NEAR GREENOCK BE SURE TO COME HERE THE DELHI DELUXE , GREENOCK FANTASTIC"
