"We visited first on the day we arrived and were grateful for being fed at 10pm on a Sunday evening. We just had a pizza each plus a delicious bottle of wine. We also had a bottle of water (realised later they had charged for 2). Rather surprised to find that all pizzas were basically a marguerita (nice base) and then whatever other toppings you required were served, uncooked, on the side. It 's how we do it we were told.....oh well My partner wanted to go back for their special of mixed grilled meats and polenta. We ordered the same wine, two pasta starters and then two portions of the mixed meat and polenta. My ravioli was very nice. My partners sardine spaghetti dish was rather too fishy but that was just a matter of taste. Sadly the main was a major disappointment all round. The meat had clearly been reheated and was probably several days old already. It would have been lifted by a little passata or other liquid, but none was served. Dry bread to start with no oil, vinegar or butter. No parmesan cheese with the pasta and no salt or pepper on the table. €81 euros later we left decidedly underwhelmed."

So hard to choose from a great selection of restaurants in Verona however we were so happy to choose this restaurant. We sat outside with a lovely ambience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Will definately return here.

Enjoyed our sup here eating outside at tables that run along the front of the restaurant along the pavement under a canopy. Good menu choice. Friendly welcome. Good service. Traditional Italian food . A good experience a pretty fair price.
