"Meine Frau und ich waren kürzlich im „Bollywood“ in München – und wir können den guten Ruf des Restaurants absolut bestätigen. Anlässlich des Valentinstages waren die Tische wunderschön geschmückt, ohne dabei kitschig zu wirken. Als Vorspeise wählten wir verschiedene Gemüse-Pakoras sowie eine Fisch-Pakora. Die Papad wurden sogar aufs Haus gereicht und kamen mit drei leckeren Dips (süß mittelscharf, scharf und sehr scharf) – ein echter Genuss. Lustigerweise war der Dip noch am Tisch, als die Papad bereits verputzt waren. Für die Hauptspeise entschieden wir uns für das Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani) und das Chicken Jalfrezi. Zwar ist das Jalfrezi in der Karte als „scharf“ gekennzeichnet, doch es fiel uns im Vergleich relativ mild auf – fast so ähnlich wie das Butter Chicken, bis auf eine kleine Scheibe Zitrone als optischen Unterschied. Dazu gab es hervorragend gewürzten Basmati-Reis. Besonders schön war, dass das Fleisch in einer kleinen Schale serviert und auf einer Kerzenflamme warmgehalten wurde – das sorgte für ein stimmungsvolles Ambiente, auch wenn leider immer dasselbe Lied im Hintergrund lief. Der Service war sehr nett, besonders abends, als sogar die Chefin persönlich anwesend war. Zum krönenden Abschluss gab es beim Bezahlen noch einen Likör und ein Lassi aufs Haus. Insgesamt war es ein gelungener Abend mit tollen Gerichten, einer angenehmen Atmosphäre und freundlichem Service. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

The Bollywood Indian Restaurant is my absolute favorite restaurant when it comes to authentic Indian cuisine! The dishes are always fresh, perfectly seasoned and full of flavors. The ambience is warm and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and makes you feel comfortable highly recommended!
