"We had a fabulous meal at Zante this evening. The chef made us feel right at home, even though the menu looked much different than what we usually see in the States. I had the Greek salad; the portion size is quite large, but it was delicious. My husband had the grilled olive bread. He loved it. For mains, we went with chicken pitta skepasti (a sort of grilled sandwich and the lamb stiffado, a stewed lamb dish. The latter was so good, I wanted to lick the plate. Husband also like the skepasti, which had great flavors. The chef talked us into a piece (a large piece! of baklava. Not too sweet (yay! and delicious. The restaurant is across the walkway from an NHS building. Kinda hard to find, but worth it."

"We were looking for somewhere different for some brunch and was not disappointed! "I ordered the spicy chicken wings, which were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection; crunchy on the outside and topped with a delightful sauce. I also enjoyed the salad underneath, which absorbed some of the hot sauce and chicken juices, serving as a lovely dressing. I appreciated that the staff offered the sauce on the side, recognizing that it was quite spicy. Next, I tried the chicken Milanese with carbonara, served with penne. It was quite tasty, though I would suggest that the sauce could have had a bit more flavor—though that might just be my preference for stronger tastes. Nonetheless, it was fresh, well-cooked, and attractively presented. Another significant advantage was the price. There were four of us; two were drinking alcohol, and we all had two courses—with one person having three—and the total came to around £90, which I thought was fantastic given the current situation. Thank you for all the evident effort you put into this dining experience. We will definitely be back!"
