"I was back in rodenkirchen and waited for my mother who was with the doctor. it was possible to bridge the waiting period with a cool drink on the “old love”. I also wanted to make it clear how it is, and I won that clearness. the “old love” is a quasi-institutional in the carolly south, and especially in rodenkirchen. Many years ago, she was shot by a freighter, then she burned down, and again and again she got up. but not every resurrection produces good. the surrounding area is still something special, the interior and the social space as well as the terrace are simply rustic. I sat on the terrace that was only well occupied for half when I arrived. in the dining room was still a company with about 25-20 people. the two service forces seemed to have the position different in the handle. I chose a seat that was in the responsibility of the service power, which was significantly weaker in the performance. my simple order, a soft yeast, took approx. 10 minutes after I had inquired whether the dame of the service had forgotten me, it was there within a minute. Conclusion: The “Old Love” is a very original and special local, predestined for beautiful hours on the Rhine. Unfortunately, the operators seem to place more on the “ult status” which this locality enjoys than on quality. yet, for a drink you should take the “old love” into the program. 02. april 2013: I had a table reserved for Eastermontag for a family trip because the city magazine prince has now accepted the old love as a location recommendation. my conclusion after the retry attempted; a strem away because it is a gastronomic nightmare there. there is nothing wrong except this beautiful llcation. the old love is a great locality, everything fits to celebrate optimally. have made many parties there and would do it again and again. the price-performance ratio is correct. a very nice staff that complains or the one that I cannot understand. we from our club always make our club meetings there and there are many people from all over Germany and they are all thrilled by this great ambiente.
