Woman and I appeared against 18 o'clock without reservation and could find a table for two people in a full night. a very popular place for the locals. the food was excellent and the service was right. very friendly staff.

in a rather boring and quiet part of the harbour area we found this little jewel of a fish restaurant. they have a huge menu with many own specialties. beautiful wine card. the place is very full, so absolutely reserve a table.

we ordered the fish of the day and were super, as well as the fish soup, the French wine and the cumin, local digestif. the personal was available for any request and the place was really nice for friends or business travelers. it's pretty hard to reach with the car, but if you're here, this place really needs a visit! ! at our last visit in rostock we tried to get a table with just a few hours in advance. This time I ordered a month in advance and I am so glad I did it. borwins is without a doubt one of the top 5 fish restaurants where I have eaten worldwide. excellent service, fantastic eating and a very attentive staff. and to praise this makes you Danish like me unconstitutional. we had the most fantastic evening and paid less than for a few pizzen and a mediocre wine home. thanks, borwins! we will definitely come back!

I enjoyed sitting at the harbour overlooking the sailboats. the service was good at first. our jakobsmuschel appetizer was very good, but then something went wrong. we waited another 45 minutes to get our main meal. I like that they can choose their supplements. the dorschfilet was in order, but impregnated in an ordinary sauce. my zanderfilet was very dry without butter sauce. I also picked out a series of bones that I don't like. my man had all the fish that was in order. we ordered dessert - the restaurant was almost empty - but it took 25 minutes to get dessert - what it was not worth. the dessert was overpriced and very common. I would come back for the jacobs, but not much!

our cruise ship regal princess made in rostock stop. while many people went to berlin, we decided to stay in this beautiful little town. the borwin harbour restaurant was recommended to us by the workers of the radisson hotels when we asked about eating. it is a very rustic and cozy restaurant at the river with beautiful view. we ordered bouillabaisse, which was filled with a lot of fish and seafood ingredients and tasted delicious. we also shared a fish plate that was also fantastic. the bill, including beer, was very reasonable. the personal was friendly. when we left, there was a rain casting and the owner of the restaurant offered us his umbrella. if we return to rostock, we will definit...
