Boston Spice - Carta

The service at Boston Spice is very polite and efficient. They offer an excellent Thai menu with delicious food at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered a family takeaway and driven in from Swinesehead to collect and the food was excellent. Exactly what we ordered, hot and ready on time. The best Pad Thai we've had for a long time. Well worth the travel and we will be back.

Really first-rate food and service. Generous portions and fresh ingredients. We visited on a warm Sunday evening, and the door and windows were open with tables widely spaced so it felt completely safe, particularly as the water wore a covering. Ver carta

We were quite regular visitors to Boston Spice before covid and have really missed it. Always usually sit in so tried a takeaway for the first time and it was fantastic. Great value and quality! Prawns to start are always my favourite and my husband loves the chicken satay, beef massaman always great too, thanks very much x

Not the most authentic Thai food but tasty enough and with lovely fresh veggies. Spice has definitely been dialled down here and some of the curries didn’t have the lovely depth of flavour we’d expect. The sweet chilli sauce was very sweet but lacked the chilli heat, but the little corn fritters were very good. Service was excellent and it’s a nice venue.

We dined at this restaurant last night and couldn't be more impressed! The ambiance is lovely, the staff and service were exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of dishes, all of which were fantastic, but the Thai red curry with king prawns was especially outstanding! We were also pleased with the reasonable cost of our meal. We highly recommend this charming restaurant and will definitely return if we come back to Boston. Thank you very much. Ver carta

This little Gem of a restaurant was recommended by a local. We turned up to find all 6 tables full and had to wait 40 mins to be seated but was okay, plenty of bars to get a drink near by). Next time we will book a table.The food is exquisite! Will be coming back here for more of the Thai yellow curry! The main was served with a fantastic eastern chafing dish to keep it warm.We loved every minute of the meal! Feeding 3 people with multiple drinks and two courses for under £70 is impressive! We will be back!

My wife and I had an evening meal here last month. Having lived and worked in Thailand I was looking forward to an authentic Thai meal. The beef massaman curry was underwhelming compared with massaman curries I have enjoyed in Thailand. This one was quite bland and uninteresting beef and potato chunks flaoting in a bland gravy. No depth or richness to it. Rice was not included as a side dish.Service was efficient and we didn't have to wait too long for our dishes to arrive.My wife enjoyed her noodle dish. Was looking for a late evening bite to eat and came across Boston Spice. We do love a good Thai so thought we would give it a try. On arrival the restaurant was empty so we had no problems in getting in and served. To start with we went for the sharing platter. Food was tasty, hot and quick service. Good portion. Only thing which wasn’t great was the chilli sauce (very vinegary). Moving onto mains we went for curry’s and rice. Yet again food was tasty, hot and delicious. Overall service was ok but could of been a lot better. We felt very out of place and the waiter kept staring at us which was very off putting. Not very friendly either but was quick with service.
