"that is a really nice restaurant in the old town in hastings. everything on the menu can be customized to be made with tofu or sweet and eating is absolutely delicious. they also seem quite glued over allergies (the last time we were asked if we had everything we could not eat). a cache to note, but the small bowl of cracker that put them on their table when they arrive not vegan but if they ask for vegan cracker instead they will deliver (the soße that they are with the crackers to die for) while I have never seen that someone bought a book there, the general ambiente of the ortes is cozy, with many small tables that are behind regal of books. a large small place I would definitely recommend."

This place is a must! We loved the quirky restaurant and the service was amazing. Probably worth a mention that the food was first rate; a nice simple menu with nice simple pricing. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful meal here this week, Abby was a great waitress and very attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic, highly recommend. We were sat in the 'poetry ' and 'politics ' section. Also catered really well to gluten free and vegetarian diets.

I haven't found anything on the menu that I haven't loved yet and the personal is always so helpful! always get a bargain book while I'm there! highly recommended, especially for a romantic meal for 2. best bang cracker and satay chicken starter around.

Absolutely incredible food in an incredibly quirky setting. Food was fresh and service was quick. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I'm a fussy eater and don't like spicy food so loved that I could choose how hot I wanted my meal, from mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Couldn't fault a thing!

Great food but disappointed with the size of the portions and the fact that you bring your own drink but you have to pay £2! for each one. That doesn’t make any sense! When we booked the table we were told it was £2 for uncorking. We assumed they referred to uncorking a bottle of wine… We brought two cans (one beer one cider) and we were charged £2 each! If you go simply ask for tap water. It’s free… at the moment.

Thank you for a fantastic evening, it was a perfect end to our wedding day. We all loved the food, the presentation was lovely, it was authentic Thai food and just amazing flavours. The bookshop is romantic and cute. A great place to celebrate something special and a fantastic memory for all of us. We wanted somewhere quirky, with fantastic food and good service, this little gem of a restaurant definitely lived up to all of this. We even had our Colin the Caterpillar cake cutting photos done here too. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back

friendly and easy quirky restaurant in a second bookshop. very good eating not a large amount of choice, but what they have is really delicious, with good ingredients and flavors used. beautiful that they know about veganism. they can choose how spicy their foods have (spicky, medium, mild) and the spicy really is sharp! the deal is that they are an appetizer and main meal for something like £13. We recommend the delicious hot and acidic suppe! almost everything on the food card can be made vegan, including the (prawn) cracker, although we were only once for the novelty they were not particularly interesting!
