I went to this place 2 summers ago (June 2013) and I still rave about it.

We went here about three times whilst we stayed for a week in Nice. The staff we always pleasant and helpful. The food was five star. We will be visiting this restaurant again when we return to Nice next year. Ver carta

Not where you would expect an amazing restaurant to be located, with five star service, and great value food choices, the fresh fish dishes are a must. But the real catch of the day is the service and friendly welcome that always greets the regular customer, or passing tourist. Go early for lunch, the place gets packed to capacity. Enjoy.

My husband and I ate lunch here today. We expected canteen/brasserie food but were very pleasantly surprised. We both had fresh tuna steaks, coated in sesame seeds which were delicious with a little soy sauce drizzled on the top. These were accompanied by quinoa, lightly flavoured with spices; a very nice change from the usual chips or potatoes. Along with this we had al dente green beans, sautéd with pieces of very tasty onion, plus a portion of mesclun salad with what was clearly a home made, tasty vinaigrette. It was a very reasonable 14€ each. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We shall definitely eat here again.

We were in a hurry one evening to have a quick, light meal before attending an event in the area. Finding nothing suitable because we had to eat before 7pm and most restaurants dont open until then, we went to the mall and found the brasserie. We were expecting just an average meal, but it turned out to be one of our memorable meals during the stay, in large part because of the friendly waiter who made us feel welcome, helped us with our choices of pizza and went out of his way to explain the ingredients, which turned out to be unique and locally sourced, on our pizza. The pizzas were great, service great. We'll go again next year when we return to Nice Ver carta
