great German food experience. I and my wife had a very good dinner in this restaurant. we strongly recommend it. Too bad I didn't make a picture of the one I received.

Stayed nearby and ate here twice. Both time the food was delicious and service was great and very friendly. Everything we had here generously portioned, three dinners and several Kolsch came in under euros. Ver carta

very friendly and attentive waiter! I think he calls himself a tasty eating and reasonable prices. they should reserve a table if they want to come from 18 o'clock. in summer or with beautiful weather you can sit very nice in the beer garden. we always liked it very well. Many thanks for this and we keep those who come well through the forced holiday!

We loved this restaurant in Merheim. The food was delicious and the servings were very, very generous I could not finish my meal there was so much. The staff were all lovely and our waitress was extra friendly and helpful with us as we...don't speak German and she could speak a little English. I would recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again if we come back to Cologne.

During the weekend you should book a table in advance, this restaurant seems to be quite popular in this area of Cologne (Brueck). When you will go there you can expect typical kitchen from the Rhine area, friendly, fast and funny waiters, very good food...and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is devided in two parts, one like a classical restaurant and one a bit like a bar where you can eat some small but tasty things from the Cologne menu having a beer and watch football. This pub is about a couple of blocks from the light rail station in the suburb of Merheim. We went on a Monday and I'm told that reservations are recommended throughout the rest of the week because they are generally very busy. We were seated...promptly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Two of us ordered the Jägerschnitzel. It came in a tasty sauce and fries and the portions were large. Another of us ordered a dish of panfried mushrooms that were delicious. We drank Kölsch the generic name for a series of locally brewed beers. We enjoyed the food, the beer, and the whole experience.

we all tasted very good food! it also came very fast, but unfortunately was not very hot. on the menu are unfortunately no drinks indicated, but the prices were all very fair! the ambiente is very sympathetic and also likes to talk more and so louder. the waitresses were all very attentive, nice and regularly turned their rounds. in times of corona, I would have liked to have guests who could be reminded by the hired people to wear their masks in mind when going out or during the toilet walk. the restaurant does not make much from the outside, but overall we were all convinced and will surely return to the visit worth!

We arrived at our nearby hotel after an drive from Munich and were recommended to try this restaurant, although we were warned that it might be busy. Fortunately, it's a huge place and, although the front garden was nearly full, there was a kind...of overspill area to the side and the back room was nearly empty. It's a big back room, mind and, although a tad utilitarian, still felt a comfortable place for a couple of foreigners to eat. Our waitress spoke good English and was very tolerant of my poor German.
