"Food and drink amazing but the staff seem to view customers and their requests as an inconvenience. More interested in chatting amongst themselves, clearing tables that have no customers before tables where customers have just come in (other tables weren’t available at the time), telling us they don’t have filter coffee (but ‘we can do you an americano’ as though it was a favour) despite this being on the menu and the coffee being on top of the machine… The place overall felt tense, far too warm and generally quite messy. I’ve been in twice over the past week once on Wednesday with no issues and now on Saturday assuming it’s a different group of staff… A real shame considering the quality of food and drinks this could be an amazing place for preston if the service were more consistent."

Lovely food and cafe, living in the block ive found the counter for residents often gets ignored and you can wait 15-20 mins for service, other than that a perfect little cafe

A very welcome, smart coffee lunch venue for Preston, majoring on Lancashire produce. Stand-outs: staff are pleasant, polite a good at service. Kitchen and food: i just had scrambled eggs on toast tomatoes: delicious. Can commend.

Don 't bother visiting Brew and Bake if you have young children. The way my daughter and I were treated following some spillages was disgusting. I profusely apologised and asked if I could clean it up. I was refused and was told to make sure my child doesn 't spill something again. Terrible customer service and terrible staff attitude. Avoid. I’ve been going to brew+bake every morning and afternoon since I found out about it. It’s the cutest, most aesthetic cafe in Preston. The quality of their coffee and food is incredible, but the staff are really what makes it incomparable to any other cafe I’ve been to. I would recommend it to anyone, with children, or without, without hesitation!

We went for a late Saturday lunch. I had the garlic mushrooms on sourdough and my partner had the smoked salmon filled croissant. My mushrooms were really flavoursome and perfectly cooked, not too creamy. My partner felt that there was a lot of cream cheese but not much salmon in his croissant. Overall great place, friendly, attentive staff with a clean environment and stylish. I’d definitely recommend this place.
