The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they were able to find us a table even though the restaurant was very busy.

Very welcoming staff and all seem to working hard to provide a quick service. Would definitely recommend the smothered platter you get a lot for your money. We will be back and telling family to go

Staff are very friendly, can't do enough for you. Went for lunch with friends 2 for £10 on cocktails too, bonus. Excellent value for 2 meals at 11.49. Would definitely recommend, all round cheap and cheerful.

Lovely service, greeted with a smile throughout the food came out in good time! the meal was very nice and at great value. I would recommend the cocktails and the mocktails they were delicious. Great night will be returning very soon!

Friendly staff. But food was absolutely horrible the manager seemed to have the hump when I pointed out the chips wasn’t fresh and tasted more like rubber for the price I’d expect fresh chips the burger was ok not the best my person opinion is that the food here is not worth the price they are charging

We invited friends to join us for a meal at this restaurant, but unfortunately, the food was cold when it finally arrived, even though it was cooked properly. This is not acceptable when dining out. The staff only offered the excuse that they had been busy. We were very disappointed and decided that we will not be returning for another meal.

We stopped en-route to the coast at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon to break the journey. Food ordered from the 2 for £11-49 menu arrived promptly served by a very polite waiter. The meals were hot and tasty and well worth the money. As the driver I opted for a cappuccino to drink, duly dispensed by machine, however I found this to be quite weak. Thinking about it I suppose I should’ve added a shot of espresso. If we happened to be passing again and wanted to eat we would def stop again

What a fabulous pub! The staff were absolutely great. Really helpful , pleasant and engaging. The food was also brilliant. Good size portions fresh from the kitchen and piping hot. The menu is varied and good quality and the drink offering is also broad. But what stands out is the attitude of the staff. It’s really refreshing to visit a pub where all the staff are so helpful and clearly want to do a good job. I would recommend this place to you if you’re ever in the Boston area. It’s well worth a visit.

Ate here for dinner on a Friday Night, and Breakfast Saturday whilst staying at adjacent Premier Inn.There are a number of restrictions due to Covid-19. For example, separate enttrance and exit routes, no cutlery on the table when you arrive, and food is brought to the table in a different way. I have no problem with any of this, as it is Government regulation, and although not ideal, it has to be.What I did have issues around was the stupidly limited menu offered for dinner. It was unimaginative and featured 4 very bland starters, about 15 mains and about 6 desserts.
