"An old fashioned Italian restaurant that has obviously been successful for many years with a loyal local clientele. The decor was ok if somewhat tired but, as said, has to be successful so why change?The owner is a great guy, larger than life and very accommodating and funny. His second is a little less outward going and does not seem to enjoy his job much but could be it was just a bad day for him which after the last number of months is entirely understandable.I had mussels, which were excellent, and herself a caprese salad the quality of the tomato and mozzarella was not the greatest plus it was swimming in too much balsamic dressing (which, he pointed out to us, is how he likes it personally).For mains, herself had a really excellent seared lamb and lamb risotto from the specials and she loved it. I tried a little and have to agree it was excellent. I had Zuppa de pesci which was pleasant enough but the star of the show, large prawns, were somewhat over cooked and slightly powdery to my taste.Having had excellent dinners in two local restaurants, overall it was a disappointing last night’s stay in Seaford softened by some good cooking and watching the host at work.The wine list, incidentally, is good and would recommend the dry house Rose and the Primitivo which was excellent!"

"The Plough and Harrow is an absolutely lovely pub. We visited as a party of seven with three dogs and were seated at a table inside. Our drinks order was taken really quickly and when we had an issue with one of the drinks they immediately remedied it. We ordered four Franco chicken burgers, one fish and chips and two beef burgers. The food came really quickly and was absolutely delicious. The chicken burgers were a whole chicken breast that had been lightly battered, with a delicious homemade slaw and the chips were divine. The beef burger was similarly really nice and had loads of fresh salad in it. Just wished the chip portion was a bit bigger. When the child's beef burger came the kids meal had more chips than the adults meal did, as they put them in little metal pots for the adults meals. The inside of the pub is lovely it has loads of fairy lights and old fashioned swirly light bulbs. The staff members were really helpful. There were lots of menus around so we didn't have to share and the whole pub itself looked really clean. The toilets were also clean. That was a good range of seating inside as well as outside in the beer garden and further down past the car park there's also an additional garden with seating. The Plough and Harrow is obviously very popular as it was very busy and we went. I can see why, we had a lovely meal and we'll definitely be going back."

"My friend and I had brunch here yesterday. The weather outside was appalling, but the welcome was bright and sunny. They were busy but had one table free. Service was cheerful and, even though they were very busy, our food and drinks were served quickly. The waitress was very friendly and the food was hot and delicious. Gluten free was not a problem, the coffee was very good and the prices very reasonable. I could not fault this place, and will definitely come here next time I am in Seaford. Thank you."

"We recently dined at Ollivers after not visiting for some time. The atmosphere was just as warm and friendly as we remembered. The food was delicious and the quality and standards have remained consistent, which is hard to come by these days. The prices were excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced. We won't wait as long to visit again next time. We had a fantastic evening and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was a real treat and we would highly recommend it."

"Staff were friendly and helpful but the place was empty on a Saturday night. The chicken dhansk was awful and had hairs it in we sent it back and they did remove the price from the bill was was very disappointed. The starters were good and the chutneys were delicious also were the prawns but the nann bread was disappointing. It was quite expensive compared to other Indian restaurants in the town too."
