"we are a team of young American cookers from Texas with a passion for eating, culture and excitement. our dear to eating has led us to develop a better understanding of eating and at the same time to examine the history, culture, traditions and techniques behind every dish. our company is called culinary crossings and we travel the world to discover and try new flavors while we document and experience other cultures and their cuisines. during the summer we had the opportunity to travel over a period of 3 months in 28 different countries and over 100 restaurants throughout Europe, to interview restaurant owners, cook with chefs and taste traditional but popular dishes from the region. we came into the tent bar for a few authentic German brezels (or what we call in America brezeln) and had the opportunity to enjoy two popular brezels on the menu with a lot of small brezels while we drank a beer and told us with the friendly owners about his life story and what inspired him to open the brezel bar. we had dived the original spelt in butter and a sprinkled sandwich that turned out to be delicious! this all ensured a wonderful experience and a afternoon, which was made possible by courteous service, a relaxed atmosphere and the best spelt berlins!"
