the best plate of nachos I had. they were busy, but we still managed to sit for lunch. the service speed was appropriate, how busy they were. all staff were friendly and helpful.

Great lunch. We all had the fish and chips which was lovely.. Had the sticky toffee pudding and after eight sundae for dessert, absolutely delicious. The young man serving us was exceptional.

What a gem of a find! We'd just finished Go Ape at Itchen Country Park and fortunately this came up on Maps as somewhere to eat. Such a beautiful place, lovely inside, excellent food and really friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

Went out as a family for a Sunday roast. Good options, good size plate of food, good taste and friendly service. I'd be very happy to go back and to take my good friends to. They have updated the outside eating options. It is a busy road but I'd still be happy to eat outside.

This was a right little find, lovely pub, friendly chatty staff, outdoor space which was fab in the sunshine and table service inside. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Puddings were great too. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Will absolutely return of we are that way again.

Clean pub, friendly and welcoming. Dogs and children welcome. Food was very good, good quantity and plentiful choice. Drinks were brought to table but you could also order at the bar. Quite a good size car park but lots of cars. Outside area and a smokers hut. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area.

Good venue for a sunny afternoon, had fish and chips, and my friend had scampi and chips, both were so good, and everything was fresh. Definitely on my list of favourite pubs in the area. Nice outside area, only slight niggle for me was people smoking outside of the smoking area, but didn't bother me too much. Staff were friendly and helpful

I booked a table in advance asked if I could park my motorhome in their car park overnight they readily said yes at no charge! We received a very friendly welcome in this lovely dog friendly pub! The food was very tasty excellent value for money! One slight criticism the table was quite sticky which I'm sure was down too too much spray cleaner! Will definitely return when in the area!

Having never been here before I was a little bit worried as we were celebrating my 50th Birthday. I needn't have worried though as it was perfect, from the welcome at the door to the goodbye at the end. There was a slight delay because they were busy but the staff kept us informed and were very attentive and it was all worth the wait. The food was lovely, lots of choice and good sized portions. The room was very spacious and had a calming atmosphere and we were not rushed at any point. I would be very happy to recommend and look forward to a return visit, thank you for helping me enjoy my birthday.
