Ordered Fish and Chips got kebab and chips. Spoilt my meal for the night.

We ordered two cods and repeated the order over the telephone and got to cobs. We didn't realise until they left. Won't be going back

Ordered donor meat pizza and paid for extra topping of donor meat, there was only the tiniest amount of meat, couldn’t even taste any meat!!! Such a shame, we use briggs often

I havent ordered from briggs for ages as i choose meal deals and they forget the can of pop and delivery man says will bring on next order! 3 orders no can of pop and batter on fish was well over fried. I ordered again after a couple of months and put on the note for restaurant ...please don't forget can of pop. Delivery driver made a point of passing me can of pop !! Really rude !! And batter on fish was burnt yet again. I only gave 1 star so i could leave a comment!!

the first time from here as really tied right fish and chips ordered...so took the chance on this, and I can certainly say I was not disappointed. the fish was made perfection. not greasy or heavy teig. the chips were not cheap frozen type that some do. well, they certainly did not taste it. the whole family was very impressed by the meal that is sometimes difficult. the young lady on the phone was very polite and the delivery came in time from the order. delivery was polite too. Thank you. .all was an excellent service. recomend them try them for themselves.

Sadly I've had to change my review of this place now. NEW REVIEW... The standards of this place have gone right down whilst the prices have gone right up! Their food, both quality and quantity, are now very disappointing. Their Kebabs served in their handmade naan bread is terrible, the naan is tasteless and raw/undercooked whilst the meat tastes old and dried up, the salad is dry and the amount they put on is hardly worth bothering with. I tried the fish n chips and the chips were clearly old/recooked and the fish was not nice and covered in a vile soggy batter. Greatly improved from a few years ago! This chippy is great. The chicken kebabs are fantastic, as are the wraps. The chip portion sizes are incredibly generous. A regular portion is more than enough for 2 and we always have loads left over. Enough to feed another person! The fish portions are great too, and absolutely delicious. The kebab quality was a bit iffy a few years ago. They've really upped their game recently and their kebabs are truly gorgeous now! Unfortunately this has led them to greatly reducing the size of their kebabs. Particularly the Briggs special kebab. This is really small now compared to how it was. I wish they'd offer their chicken curry without having to have it with...
