"We stayed at the Chateau Locguenole when we visited Carnac and Quiberon in Brittany. Seldom have we had such a wonderful hotel and restaurant experience. This is a Chateaux Relais property, therefore very expensive and very elegant. The service was, as expected, professional and...efficient. But to our great delight, the staff couldn 't have been friendlier and more welcoming. We were offered a choice among four reception rooms around the Chateau to have our pre-dinner drinks. We chose one with wood paneling, long French windows and doors, decorated with family portraits. We tried the 'cocktail du main ' which was champagne with cherry brandy. Too sweet for my taste, but my husband happily finished mine. The dining room was downstairs in what had been the Chateau 's kitchen. So it was full of French charm in a rustic way. We had a lovely table by the window, looking out over the lawns. It turned out we were the only ones dining. I don 't know if the superb service we received was due to that, but superb it was. Our young waiter was friendly and open to our conversational overtures (turns out his cousin has a restaurant in Montreal). Friendly but not intrusive. He practised his English and we practised our French. He was helpful with suggestions. When he brought my duck entree he told me it was cooked very rare, but the chef had instructed him to tell me that if I preferred it more well done, he would be pleased to comply. I deferred to the chef 's expertise, ate it rare and it was melt in the mouth tender. My husband had his usual steak, cooked perfectly to his medium rare specification and served hot. I don 't remember what the sides, appetizers, amuse bouches and desserts were, but I do remember they were fantastically good, as was the recommended wine. We took our time and spent several hours over dinner. Although we were the only clients, we were not rushed and never received the impression they were willing us to hurry and go so they could go home. Flawless cooking, presentation and service. Eat here if you ever get the chance. It is worth every penny."

"Deco sympa, service très agréable. Salle trop bruyante (pour moi) car pas mal de groupes. Peut-être aurait-il fallu y aller un soir J’ai pris un fish&chips. Il était bon, la cuisson adéquate et non grasse. Mais 17€50 pour 3 bâtonnets de poisson et une minuscule corbeille de frites. Ma salade baignait dans la vinaigrette qui était très salée. La sauce maison accompagnant les frites (un genre de mayo) était beaucoup trop huileuse. Quant au dessert, un breizh tiramisu : il n’avait de breizh que la minuscule pointe de caramel au beurre salé sur le dessus."

"Nous étions tombés sous le charme de ce petit restaurant il y a 4 ans et de retour à Dinan, nous y sommes retournés sans hésiter!Le temps ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de manger dehors mais la salle est cosy et très propre.Le personnel est toujours très sympathique, on y mange toujours aussi bien.Le seul bémol est l'augmentation phénoménale des prix. Le menu souris (galette complète, crêpe beurre sucre et verre de cidre) est passé en 4 ans de moins de 10 EUR à 14 EUR !!!Et sur une addition de 68 EUR pour 3 (un peu cher pour une crêperie), j'ai été déçue de me voir facturer 50 cents de supplément pour le sirop qui accompagnait mon verre d'eau. Alors que la veille, dans un resto où nous n'avions pris qu'un plat (31 EUR en tout), le sirop avait été offert. Ces 50 cents sont insignifiants mais ce n'est pas très commerçant.En résumé, qualité et service irréprochable. Rapport qualité-prix n'est plus du tout compétitif.Surtout que dans la rue principale (la magnifique ruelle qui descend vers la ville basse), les menus sont à 9 EUR (entrée, plat et boisson). La prochaine fois, nous irons donc là-bas."

"Very nice crêperie in her juice. The pancakes are excellent fine and with a lot of taste we are at the top! I took a forest that was simply super and a simpler andouille mushroom cheese that it also was delicious in any case with a lot of taste. Bravo"

"Frankly, a very good address. A large parking lot. pleasant not to pause in the dust. deco and acceuil give the tone: good atmosphere that unveils you immediately. Inside, you think you're on a ferry! But we're on the ground! high-quality meals, with a sufficient choice of entrances (no buffet and dishes as well as desserts (little buffet) a good address to check in its repertoire!"
