"I had visitors in town and wanted to bring them to good Thai place, I was eating at Pattaya several times before and was very pleased with them everytime, and expected nothing less than that this time. Then we arrived to a place called Brown Sugar - still, didn't think of anything, changing of name doesn't always mean that much to the quality of food....until the food arrived. A complete disaster, for the appetizer, even though I emphasized not too spicy, it was totally too spicy, the main dishes came in a plate looked pretty much like a "lunch menu". We planned to eat it the Thai's way and share our food but the main dishes came in "one plate's policy" although the price was definitely "dinner's price", we still got served as if it was a lunch's menu, and although both curry's dishes looked suspiciously wrong, I still gave the benefit of the doubts not to question just the color (and lack of any "real" vegetable") but first bite just confirmed all my doubt, it was a catastrophe of a food, it was nothing, not a fusion, not a thai, not a german (way toooo sweet!) in "beef massaman" was full of onion and one or two potato. The other one was "crispy duck in red curry" (well in this case, it's a "crispy duck lying next to curry" that looked suspiciously the same like massaman curry and tasted pretty much the same disgusting taste, overly sugarly and nothing else :( It was a total disappointment and shameful for bringing my special guests to such a horrible place, while there are so many other thai restaurants in Wiesbaden, I chose this one and wanted to do nothing but take the word "thai" away from that place. for 72€ (3 people) I fell like being robbed blindly, an imbiss's food would have been 1000 times better than that experience. So, NEVER EVER again Brown Sugar - auf NIEwiedersehen."
