"The appetizers arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. The main courses followed within five to ten minutes after our plates were cleared, and once again, the food was rich, freshly prepared, and tasted fantastic. Every server we encountered was friendly and eager to assist. The lighting in the restaurant was just right—not too bright or too dim—creating a pleasant atmosphere. The music was played at a low volume, making it easy to hold a conversation, and the temperature was comfortable. The waitress even adjusted the radiator when I mentioned feeling a bit cold. The accessible restroom was clearly marked and easy to find. It was clean, equipped with a left-hand handrail, and the mirror was positioned at an accessible height. The emergency red cord was hanging freely, ensuring safety. There was plenty of space between tables, and hand sanitizers were available at the bar. Overall, my experience was extremely positive on all fronts. I will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone who will listen. we visited today after the emmerdale village tour to lunch. greetings, eating and service were fantastic, we were so satisfied with our visit here. we live over 90 miles away, so looking for something with good reviews and we can understand why. 100% recommended. desire that there are more pubs like this with the levels of excellent service and food quality

I live in East Yorkshire, while my sons are in Cheshire, so we've met here several times over the past few years since it’s a convenient halfway point for us. I have dined here many times, and a large part of the menu is gluten-free. I always have a great experience. Last night, I had the fish and chips, which was a smaller portion than I remember, but it was delicious. In the past, I've also enjoyed the burger, sticky toffee pudding, and sausage and mash. I want to give special recognition to the staff, who are friendly and professional. This is a fantastic place to visit!

This is a really lovely pub, clean and tidy and a really good atmosphere. We sat in the conservatory area which had the roof pulled back and a patio heater right nxt to me. They also give you blankets to cover yourself if too cold. They also have seating out back and a few out front. A decent sized carpark. I didn't eat but the food looked and smelt fantastic, will be going back for a meal. The staff where really polite and friendly. The drinks where reasonable priced.
