"Romantic Hotel Hirsch! Romance is not the dominant feeling after four days in this house on the beautiful Swabian Alb. Reservation by mail holprig, wellness applications difficult, ultimately do not come about. Also sending current menus or hiking recommendations was not possible. Welcome polite, but in no way enthusiastic. You can move your luggage yourself. Wellness area not in operation as no one has booked in advance. At 16:00 no snack and no drink possible. There are no lounges in this four-star hotel, lobby or similar The room to the street pretty, but a little cramped and overpaid with almost €200 per night! bathroom small and friendly; Shower top! Fruit plate and water a nice gesture. The spa area small, dark, but beautifully decorated. The feeling of being really welcome didn't want to adjust, everything somehow always complicated. Cigar smoke on the unused terrace: Not possible. So carry chairs to the garden and back; at least there is an ashtray and whisky. But no table. Bring back glasses and ashtrays. On our request we get coffee in the morning instead of breakfast. Thank you. Grotesk, that we are allowed to pay for the unused breakfast. But: Logisch! We did not cancel it when booking Wi-Fi and heating the sauna can be found in a service package per guest; charming. But there is a 20g Döschen jam as a farewell gift! The food: village bars: menu clear, but attractive. Many regional products that are processed into Swabian classics. The bread with a honeycomb and a radish is great! Brain soup from the Alblamm: Super! Finding this is always brilliant! Creamy, creamy soup with little pieces and small, firm little bites. Good mouth, full-bodied taste. Lamb Nierle: Dito! A find! Very dark, acidic brew with apple “Brunoise” and small kidney bowls. Taste between fine and rustic. Sausage salad: Very finely cut and very finely tasted; beautiful. Pastrami: Huge portion. If something could have been merciful; less salt would also be conceivable. Still delicious. Mouth bag in broth: broth comme il faut; Mouth bag huge with meaty filling. I prefer it smaller and with spinach/meat filling, but that does not reduce the quality. pork carving with potato salad: two thick letters from the back; pretty firm, intense taste, panade not souffed. Potato salad with very small pieces, quite spicy and well tasted. Breast of mastic: Pretty perfect! Crispy the skin, juicy the chest. Gnocchi, sauce, vegetables okay. Rehragout: meat uneven; partly wonderfully tender, partly knirscht’s while chewing. Juniper's sauce wonderful. Very good late. Rust roast: Meat as ordered medium, small and more firm, but tasty. Onions, muzzle and side dishes very good. Pumpkins: very skillfully combined with ice, ragout and sauce. Food in the beautiful restaurant: Gourmet menu. Amuse Bouche on spoons a tour through the kitchen, interesting. Pork with trout: meat very soft, without crust, taste good. Great trout! Lightly smoked, juicy, dirty, great! Supplements and sauce good. Stone mushroom soup: Based on a Consommé, excellent! Stone butter with pumpkin: fish tastefully very good, a tick too long cooked. Pumpkin good, but too intense for the fish. Reh: back correctly fried, sauce good, but some chaotic plate with dry “rehcubes”, dark carrot cubes and moderate potato flan. Variation of the quince: School-wise performed variation, makes joy. Salted 15/20. Very nice and competent service! Good wine list. A lot of stuff. Prices of local wines athletic. "The restaurant Sonnenmatte is completely recommended! We were in the Dez. '22 suburbs and were allowed to enjoy our time here. We were accommodated in the holiday village Sonnenmatte, which is also recommended. We have no comparability with the old tenant! A. and S. are very friendly, courteous and take the necessary time for food and guests. The 7 dinners were very good, there was something for everyone and there was something new every day! All fresh and of very good quality (with hunters and can compare/value this at least in meat.) A, the cook, reveals or conveys his cooking knowledge also interested and has not even lost the gedult in our children (2 4 years). S,. Service power, is very friendly, attentive and for any fun to have, even you will not be able to walk around the kids. The 7x breakfast is sufficient and everyone will find something suitable. But here I have to admit that after 3-4 days I have to catch a bit boring as there was little to no change. For example, sometimes there are liver cheeses or yeast pots or eggs etc. (not always, with us there is always a butcher's juke with Twibelmet bread rolls) that there are highlights and always something new to discover or change. We come from the room Düsseldorf, we have booked half board (prices can vary safely), but we are more than satisfied with the price-performance ratio, even if the change of breakfast failed. From the taste and quality of the supplied food you would have paid much more in our room Ddorf! I do not find it as a tragic/teuer if the bottle costs 0.75L water 5.5€ or the 0.2L Schorle 2.5€ (price adjustments or errors possible.) Especially at these electricity and gas prices, it's okay only if you booked/paid when we were when prices were still normal. Leave life and life! As already mentioned, a visit is recommended and we mourn after the good food! It's a pity that you're going so far, otherwise we'd be regular guests with you!
