the food quality was lower than my primary school food, the price was more than everywhere in berlin. the personal was nice. not eating

Small and cheap for a fast dinner. Not really a fancy place, but the food is OK. Would recommend this place for a fast dinner and possibly take-a-way.

Worst curry i ever tasted. I ordered a chicken korma and It was totally not korma sauce. Plus It was very expensive for the quality. If you want real Indian food go to another place. Ver carta

We arrived that night in Berlin and were staying in Heart of Gold hostel (Buddha is very close to it). We were very hungry Ans we went in this restaurant. Its a small place with couple of people (chefs cum waiters). We asked them to...serve their speciality and we were served Tandori Chicken with rice the taste was awful, really poor quality. I am sure you can find a good meal in that price.

I should have taken more reviews online to know, but in error I thought I would risk it. as part of my meal I was served a saag curry that was ultimately a dose of pure saag, with not cooked with spicy was at all in my opinion. the poppadome were tiny comminuted fragments that were served without sauces, at least the roti and rice were fresh and edible. while I like small cafe style restaurants, I wouldn't be back.

I was at Mitte and its near to the station Oriengastrabb . One minute walk at the back yard of our hostel Generator . Had already tried AMRIT so thought to try this one . Its small but comfortable , i had very personal treatment...with this joint . Tried Indian food like Daal and Nan with also some Spinach . Food quality is ok , but people around are good to serve specially the owner who is Indian as well Love to go again Ver carta

Being an Indian..I am a bit critic about Indian food while travelling abroad... A small joint run by two gentlemen. From the outside it will give you a strange feeling..but the food is just right. Many places sell horrible useless food when it comes to...Indian food...but this place knows about the spices and they use them wisely.. Staff is very warm, receptive and helpful. Great Food. Not that expensive....Do try if in mood of Indian food.

As a British Indian I have very high standards when it comes to Indian food but I know that it doesn't need to be expensive to taste good. I was so disappointed with the food at Buddha, the restaurant's dated decor reminded me of the...Indian restaurants in West London which don't look amazing but serve great food. Sadly this was not the case here in Berlin. My paneer dish was pretty inedible; rubbery paneer and a strange bitter tomato sauce with dry, oily rice. Safe to say my search for good Indian food in Berlin continues...

the Buddha restaurant is an Indian restaurant in berlin mitte, which was close to where I stayed. the restaurant probably makes the place sounding more elevated that it really is. the interiors remember a kebab or chipshow. I have a murmous windshield wiper that was okay. that is a court that I had many paintings and I think I am qualified to say that this was a fairly bland version of the teller. to complement authenticity, eating was served somewhere between warm and hot, which cooled halfway through the lukewarm. to really beautify the things, this is for what they get.
