LOVED the food here. Got the mixed pork plate with potatoes and sauerkraut on the side along with a half litre of wine.

I haven't been there for years. remained all the same and it is a pleasure... only the prices are a little climbed. still deserves stars for tradition.

we were advised by locals. The boiled is very good, but you can not say the same of the service very little careful. finished eating we weren't asked if we wanted anything else and we couldn't intercept anyone to ask for the account if we didn't go inside where we were greeted by an older gentleman decidedly high. . . We spent Euros for a two and wine dish: honest price.

I can only give the maximum votes to what is perhaps the most famous trattoria in Trieste. I was over ten years ago and I was excited, I recently returned to find the same excellent boiled (of course pig,) strictly accompanied by mustard and cren and a portion of potatoes in tecia. only sin, perhaps, portions not as abundant as once (but I might be wrong.) however it is an experience to do if you are in the city: reservations are not accepted but, even on the most crowded days, the wait is not very long. friendly and helpful staff, good value for money (on average € per person per dish, beer and dessert. ) Ver carta
