Lovely independent Italian restaurant with very friendly welcoming staff! Nice ambience too! Will definitely return at some point.

Early evening m Al for two. Ate inside but nice area outside. Excellent ingredients, very decent Branzino con salsa di agrumi £14.95 2x Sea bass fillets, perfectly cooked. Dessert Rum Baba best ever!

Fantastic food and service to match. Muscles in particular were exceptional and the pasta was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was great, staff were attentive and made a fuss over my 1 year old daughter which is allways appreciated. I'll definitely be back!!! Ver carta

It was my mom 's birthday. We had a starter, a main and a dessert. We all ordered something different and the food was AMAZING. We did mention it was my mom 's birthday and when her dessert came out, they put a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday This was a great night out. Thank you.

1st time here, it was a birthday celebration party of 6. Food was amazing!!! I had deep fried goals cheese, Crispy Pork Belly and tiramsu the best I've ever tasted) the service was attentive small bijou family restaurant that doesn't need to change a thing. Looking forward to going again

The food is absolutely heavenly I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience in Birmingham! We went for quick bites (just some bruschetta spinach ricotta main) only to find some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had. Kudos to the lovely people at this restaurant! Ver carta

Google says I am among Top 10% who reviews Italian restaurants (I do go to Italy often and also Italian restaurants elsewhere) so I might have a say here. After going to another Italian restaurant in Harborne I had to adjust my expectation (because their food is not even above average). But this one surprised me, in a good way! Service is very friendly and interior is cozy. The food, while being adapted to the British style, is amazing! Would be happy to come back.

If you love authentic Italian Food (and drinks), provided to you by passionate Italians who love what they do, and you also want to try the different foods of any one of the 21 Italian Regions (the menu changes regularly, moving on to a different region each time), then you won't do better anywhere in the West Midlands than booking a table at Buonissimo in Harborne, Birmingham. We have been for the first time today, but we'll definitely be going back, and as soon as we can.

I went to the restaurant at about 18:30 yesterday because I fancied some pasta and the reviews were very good. The food was delicious, especially the minestrone soup, but what set it apart was the staff. Each of them was friendly, efficient, and understood the importance of customer service. My favourite moment of the evening was when my dessert took a while to come, which to be truthful I didn 't mind as I was happily sitting by the radiator with a glass of wine recommended by one of the waitresses. The waiter finally appeared with it and, with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face, proclaimed, sorry, it took ages for the chef to cook your ice cream! In conclusion, the food and atmos...
