Very fast, simple and tasty burgers in Freiburg. The fries are excellent, the service is very kind and they served my burger very fast. Recommended!

Fast service, great veggie burgers and close to the center. Inside is a bit small, but there are chairs outside with heaters, so perfect for big family with dog.

Honestly the best burger I have ever had. The meat is cooked to order exactly how you like it. Really good chili-cheese fries too. The service was also excellent. I'm sorry Freiburg is not my home-town and I can't eat there all the time.

A small room with few seats only, very basic. However, this is finally a place where you can get really good hamburgers in Freiburg's city center and at a good price. Service is quick and efficient too. If you like burger this is the place to go!

I was looking for a quick and mid-range place to have dinner while on a solo-trip to Freiburg and this was perfect. It was nice that the vegetarian options were slightly cheaper too- we normally get hit with price hikes. The staff were pretty nice and the man who served me spoke English.

The food was nice although nothing spectacular. The service was fast but the staff was impolite. They kept staring at as and it was obvious that they were discussing about us. Then they asked where we were from. Knowing that we did not speak German they called our number out in German to check if we did understand what they were talking about.

We were at party of 7 and had a great time. Food and service was excellent, fast and our burgers cooked to perfection out of a choice of cooking (rare, medium, well done). A great option for vegetarians since you can have any burger toping from their burgers list of options. Drinks are all from local producers (sodas and beers). I strongly recommend this place.

If you are walking in the street and see a place called "Burger Chalet", crowded with many local students that came to eat specifically there and not in the many places around, how wrong can you be? You are not wrong. The place is very nice and the food is fresh, simple and VERY GOOD.If you want to have a good hamburger without all the table manners… this is the place. My kids loved it! And so am I
