Burnbrae Bar & Grill

Since the Burnbrae is just a 5-minute walk away, it's one of my favorite spots to grab a meal, enjoy a drink, or even have a coffee while catching up with a colleague.

This establishment is a classic Scottish pub restaurant that serves excellent food! They offer the widest selection of beers on tap in Milngavie, all at reasonable prices.

It had been raining all day, so there wasn’t much at stake, but the need to find dinner was becoming increasingly important despite the weather. We wanted to support local dining options. Ver carta

We had lunch at this charming hotel The starters were delicious lentil soup, breaded muchrooms and chicken skewers. The starters were decent portions and were inexpensive. My rump steak was as I ordered it. The fish and chips also good Overall the food was good and the staff very helpful and friendly Best of all was the final bill of just £46 with drinks included.

Really enjoyed the food in here. I was staying in the Premier Inn next door so I was here for breakfast each day (but I did come for a few evening meals too). The staff are excellent, very accommodating. I use a wheelchair and the entrance isn't very accessible as it's very tight and has doors you need to manually open. There is also a fire extinguisher on the wall as your enter the restraunt that gets right in the way.

I recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The ambiance was beautiful, with lovely candlelight on the tables. The staff was very helpful, despite being quite busy. The meals were outstanding, easily deserving five stars. I particularly enjoyed how my steak was cooked, and the fish was delicious with a crispy crust. I also appreciated that my glass of Coke was full, not just half a pint. Keep up the great work! Ver carta

I really enjoyed eating here. I was staying at the Premier Inn next door, so I had breakfast here every day, and I also came for dinner a few times. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. However, I do use a wheelchair, and I found the entrance to be quite difficult to navigate. It is narrow, and the doors need to be opened manually. Additionally, there is a fire extinguisher on the wall that obstructs the pathway in the restaurant, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Guesses as to what my photo shows. Cold splodge meant to be Sticky toffee pudding. Went with friends as we have several times. Love the restaurant and staff but food is decidedly just not great. Such a let down time and time again. Has been on and off like this for several years now. So time to give it a miss yet again. The rest of the food was mediocre. Spoiled what should have been a nice catch up with friends. There is definitely far better nearby...Will be heading to Bearsden.

This is a wonderful pub with fantastic staff. I visited on the day of the Queen's funeral, which was quite a busy day. Although we hadn't made a reservation, we decided to take our chances. Joanne was particularly welcoming and attentive; she greeted us right away at the bar and took our orders without delay. Her friendly demeanor and warm personality made our experience even more enjoyable. She checked in on us frequently without being intrusive.
