Hungry for a big brekkie after a night out, this cafe is a good bet. Hefty portions and well prepared cooked breakfasts with all the standard options went down a treat. Some interesting other dishes such as pancakes also offered.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we immediately felt the great atmosphere. Daniel and the staff were amazing. The food and coffee were outstanding. If you're looking for the best food in Brixton, this is the place to go! And if you're looking for a good laugh, this is also the perfect spot!

cafe is super sweet! coffee is bomb! beautiful, strong taste is missing already. breakfast menu was small, but had a very good variety in any case something! it was nice that they could fill up their own brot with a selection of bread varieties. highly recommended if they are in brixton! yummy!

The Brixton market offers a somewhat surreal experience, feeling nothing like the typical London scene. It resembles a marketplace in Marrakech more than our urban jungle. Interestingly, almost all restaurants except for one only accept cash. I discovered that it is also home to one of the best breakfast spots in London.

Small Cafe' in buzzling Brixton Village. It's probably one of the most popular brunch spots in the area and it's clear why. Their food it's absolutely incredible and so is the hospitality. Carol, the manager, is an absolute sweetheart and I could spend hours chatting to her. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and well presented but my favourite has to be their French Toast. Moist and with the most delicious toppings is possible one of the best I've ever tried. Disclaimer: queue might get long on a weekend but your patience will be rewarded!

Tucked in a corner of Brixton market is this gem of a shop Burnt Toast Cafe. Absolutely famished and ready to eat some proper breakfast we decided to go for Eggs Royale and Eggs Benedict which showed to be a wonderful choice. Portion is big enough and came quite fast, which is always a good thing. However we were two hungry girls and decided to treat ourselves with a little dessert in form of a perfect French toast with berries and maple syrup (which was recommended by our lovely waitress). Definitely worth every penny and definitely coming back to try more from their menu.

There were four of us, including a small child, and while I agree with others that the service could be improved (imagine two bored young men, open until 11 o'clock and unfazed when the place was packed with a line outside), the food was fantastic. I ordered the Mexican eggs, which consisted of an English muffin topped with perfectly poached eggs on delicious guacamole, chorizo, excellent hollandaise sauce with smoked paprika. The coffee was top-notch as well. My friend's mushroom and ham dish was also excellent. Been here in Brixton for about a week and had to check this place out. My goodness it's delicious! On our first visit I ordered the French toast with berries and tea, and my hubby ordered the half English breakfast with a flat white. Both dishes were excellent! Being from the United States we've never had an English breakfast but now we get why people love it! Beans on toast sounds weird but it was delicious (my husband shared a bit with me in exchange for French Toast). My French toast was divine! Perfect amount and so delicious.
