"I had an absolutely wonderful experience dining at Namaste Gurkha, the Nepalese restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, charming and inviting, with beautiful Nepalese decor and soft lighting that creates a relaxing ambiance. Every dish that I tried was prepared with authentic Nepalese flavors and spices, cooked to a perfect blend of spice and heat, and absolutely delicious in taste. What really set Namaste Gurkha apart though was the exceptional service. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met, and giving us great recommendations on which dishes to try. Overall, I would highly recommend Namaste Gurkha to anyone looking for an authentic Nepalese dining experience in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The quality of the food and the exceptional service made this one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time!"

"In my first course, I was served three slices of bread with a variety of toppings. One was delicious (mushrooms in cream), but the other two were diced tomato and something bland that lacked flavor. They were both unimpressive and uninspiring. For my main course, the sauce surrounding the pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after bringing it to my attention, it was only slightly warmed up. However, the dessert, a Panettone bread pudding, was a standout success."

"I like the Mogul because the cooking is slightly different to the usual curry house greats. I would prefer it if the spicy food was more spicy, in our case the dansak was hotter than the Naga curry , 3 chilies should at least make you wince a bit. I'll ask them to rev it up a bit next time. Ambiance could be improved with a fish tank and 20 sitar greats. Beer is way too expensive and they didn't have Carlsburg on tap. I enjoyed the flavour and quality of the food and I'll be back , but I'll go to the pub first."

"Not having been before, we reserved a table for Friday lunchtime. No need, nobody else ate there but deliveroo were in and out all the time. The food was amazing, especially the sushi and sashimi. Offered fish not normally served in our local Japanese restaurant. Tempura was good. However, there was no heating and we froze. When we mentioned this we were told it was winter! I would love to eat here again but wouldn't book. If it was really cold I'd leave and eat at one of the many restaurants nearby. Or perhaps a takeaway."

"This restaurant delivered a pizza to my house by mistake, the pizza was meant to be for a house, about four doors away from me. I was cooking BBQ food in the garden when there was a knock at the door, which my wife answered. Her son who was working upstairs, has takeaway food delivered at least three time a week. She accepted the delivery, thinking it was for him, she called out to him and he replied that he hadn't ordered anything. She asked me, I said no, of course not. I checked the delivery for signs of where it had come from of where it was supposed to be. There were no indications at all, no phone numbers, no restaurant name, no receipt and no delivery note. I said leave it there, they will come back when the mistake is spotted. 40 minutes went by and there was a knock at the door. A very angry man asking me if we had received a food delivery. He was the person who placed the order. I told him we had and explained what had happened. He calmed down a little, I asked him if he wanted the food, he said no, not now. It was then that I decided to compost the food and recycle the cardboard. 10 minutes later another knock and another angry person, this time from the restaurant. Again I explained what had happened but I got the impression he did not believe me, he walked away shaking his head, I asked him where had he and the food come from. He told me Plenty in Hampton. My initial thoughts were surprise, as I was busy cooking. However later I was angry. Angry that the restaurant gave out my number and angry that I was questioned by the manager/owner or whoever he was. Surely they should have printed a receipt or delivery note and surely giving out my address was very wrong."
