Nice sociable place, the burger recommended 'saignant' is good but the chips are far too thickly cut which spoils the experience

I had a perfect dinner at Butcher. Burger was absolutely great and they habe also a good selection of beers. So I got an IPA. Will come again

Had the best burger i've eaten in France here. It was amazing. And to get a proper beer like Punk IPA on tap with it gave me happiness in every cell of my body! Go here and eat! And drink of course... Ver carta

We were very happy with the food there. I had a Black Angus steak medium rare and it was delicious. I wished it never ends. Absolutely satisfied. I recommend this restaurant everyone who likes a good piece of meat

The cheeseburger here is exceptionally good medium rare, just the right amount of cheese is melted (and goddam is that good cheese plus the bun is fresh and sweet, with a crisp exterior and soft interior to soak up the juices. Cool spot too.. very hip, casual but clean. Highly recommend a visit, even if you feel self conscious about eating a burger in France... worth it

My favourite place to eat burgers in France. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the Butcher which was perfectly cooked in a brioche bun and with a side salad and amazing chips. My husband had the steak which looked great. We shared a bottle...of red wine "SAINT JOSEPH" and then a gorgeous chocolate pudding. The restaurant is laid back and kind of cool and our waiter was great. Attentive and friendly. A great place for a chilled out meal Ver carta

Located in the city center in one of the side streets not far from Rue de La Republique one of the main shopping arteries of downtown Lyon, this is an unpretentious, easy going and relaxed place to go for a burger which is their main...and sole specialty besides a very few other non burger dishes. The staff is exceptionally nice, attentive and fast and everything comes and goes without a fuss. We loved the place, the informality the unpretentious and relax ambient

This place is great! After a long day of travelling this was the perfect way to end the day for us! We both ordered steak and I have to say it was the best steak I have eaten, I'm not usually a lover of steak...but this was yummy! We are from Australia and my partner is a farmer who REALLY loves his steak and he was very impressed! The service was also top notch, couldn't be any friendlier or more inviting. We got great explanations of the menu which made ordering easy. We saw a few of the burgers come out and they looked amazing! Great wine and Whisky too. Long story short of you're in Lyon and want a steak or burger, this is the place! Awesome :

As others have said, the space is inviting and the servers quite amiable. The foods I’ve had tataki, salad, and cheese plate were excellent! Though one might find their product not the typical cuisine or dining space for (tourist expectations regarding) Lyon, it’s...worth looking beyond this assumption and spending your night here. It’s a gastronomic giant and the price (both for locally sourced food and red wine) is really very good. In fact, I found the food to be so exceptional that I returned to this restaurant one night precisely in order to salvage a disappointing meal I’d had elsewhere (and I achieved that goal by enjoying an entree portion of tataki with a red wine).
